Chapter 11

It was a thrilling battle against Ice blaze versus Beigoma Academy Beyclub.

And it was finally Rideout's time to shine.

As soon as Rideout was introduced, Maiko shouted at the top of her lungs. Leaning against the border.

"YOU CAN DO IT GUYS- WAAHH!!" She shouted and almost fell because she was leaning on to the border too much.

It was a quick battle. Gabe and Katana were the only ones who went out. Since they bursted the other team's bey the second they made contact.

"Give it up for team Rideout who moves on to the second round!!!" "Congrats!!" Hanami spoke.

The team went back to their seats, but this time, with Gabe.

"WOW! YOU GUYS WERE AWESOME!" Maiko cheered as soon as they were settled down.

"Hah! No biggy!" Gabe smugly said and crossed his arms.

"Next! And this is a big one!" "The moment you've all been waiting for!"

Maiko gasped. "Is it finally The Superstars' turn??!!" Marina excitedly asked. With sparkles in her eyes and her hands cupping her cheeks.

"Just kidding! Time for lunch!"

This made Maiko's excited posture fall.

And Rideout just chuckled.

They went out to the foodcourt, with Maiko leading the way. When they reached a stall, Marina twirled to look at them.

"Choose whatever you want! My treat!" She said and winked. This made Kyo, Shinki, and Katana's mouth water.

"It's ok Maiko, no need for that." Gabe nonchalantly said.

The three guys' happy expressions turned into a gloomy one.

"Oh it's ok Gabe! You all earned it! Now come on!" She waved her hand. Kyo, Shinki, and Katana's happy face appeared again. Gabe just sighed at this but agreed anyway.

Gabe only brought one hotdog and a soda. Meanwhile the other three guys brought a whole feast. Maiko sweat dropped at the amount of food they bought. She wasn't worried about her budget tho.

"Are you sure you guys can finish that on time..?" She asked, concerned.

"Haha! Of course!" Shinki confidently said.

"If you say so..." Maiko said and went to the cashier to pay for the food.

Once she came back, they all started eating.

As soon as they finished eating, they went back to the arena.

"Are you ready?! It's go time!!" Hanami shouted.
And everyone in the arena cheered.

Multiple battles occurred but Maiko only clapped for them. She really wants to see her brother in action.

"This is it folks! We reached the final battle of round one!" Hanami announced.

"Haaahh!! Finally!! It's The Superstars' turn!" Maiko gasped in excitement.

"Let's get to the introductions! In the red corner!"
"Team Purple!!"

Hanami introduced the other team.

"Woahh!! Bonus points for uniforms~!" Maiko complimented loudly and winked at team purple. Team purple heard this and all of them blushed. It's not everyday you get complimented by an idol.

"And they're up against! In the blue corner-WAH!" Hanami was cut off by the sudden darkness.

"What's going on?!" He was scared for a sec.

"STARLIGHT!" Zac shouted.

And suddenly, the whole stadium was like a galaxy with the star-like lights Zac put on.

"That's Zac for ya! Always extra!" Maiko said.

"The twinkling of the Starry skies, is but a short lived dream before the break of dawn~"

"Until... The sun rises~"

He appeared and ended his short intro with his signature pose, and a flashy smile.

The lights went on again.

"I'm here for you! I applaud your strength! I know it's hard to live without my brilliance!" Zac confidently said.

And all of his fangirls... Well... Fangirled.

While his own girlfriend just chuckled and his little sister sighed at his ego.

"Ohh brother...." Maiko sighed.

"Just as the sun is surrounded by other stars, so too do I have my own team!" He announced.

"But these aren't ordinary bladers, boys and girls!"
"I give you...The Superstars!!"

Zac introduced his team.

And the rest of the Superstars made their appearance.

"Woahh!! Thank you Captain Zac! Looks like I'm not needed here!" Hanami spoke.

"The blader who can hear beys burst before we do..."
"I give you.. Orochi Ginba!"

He announced his last member.

"Our first member in round 1 is going to be Orochi! Mwahahaha!" Zac announced his strategy.

Maiko gasped.

"I don't think saying your plan infront of your opponent is a very good idea... But hey... It's Zac! What's there to worry about?" Maiko just shrugged it off. She is confident with whatever her brother does.

"Ahahaha! We're not trying to do you any favors here team purple! Trust me!" "It's all about the fans at home! Any thing to keep them from leaving the room or changing the channel~" Zac winked at the camera.

"That's Zac for you... Focused on the fame AND the game.." Ayaka said to no one in particular.

"The 2nd blader will be none other than... Yours truly~"
"The shining hero~ The idol that brightens your world...THE STAR THAT GUIDES YOU!"
"ZAC THE SUNRISE!!!"

All the fan girls squealed.

"... And the other guys! Let's not forget them! Freddy, Boey, and Mitt!" Zac introduced the other members.

Maiko just sweat dropped.

"Takes minutes to introduce himself but almost forgot to introduce his other members." She scoffed.

"Shame they probably won't have a chance to battle... Not with Orochi and I first! Ahaha!" He confidently declared.

And his predictions were right. The Superstars swept the floor, leaving no points for Team purple.

"AAAAA!!! LET'S GO SUPERSTARS!!!! THAT'S MY BIG BROTHER!!!! AAAAAAAAA!!!!" Maiko shouted at the top of her lungs, jumping up and down and leaning against the border again. Gabe had to hold her back so she won't fall.

Zac heard the loud cheers of his little sister and turned to her direction. He gave her a two fingered salute while winking. Maiko just laughed.

That's the Kaneguro siblings for ya. Nothing is stronger than family.
