Chapter 19 Jebedaiha
They were getting close to the town ,Pezzie was sleeping peacefully, he certainly couldn't sleep he had tried but to no avail , the old man tale was still in his mind, more like it was the only thing in his head ,there was two option, either the man was in denial , maybe he was so heartbroken that it son was gone that he had invented the whole thing , on the other hand maybe the man was right, if the virus was man made there was possibly a cure too, if not, could someone in this world still find a way to reverse all of this . He didn't know much about the outbreak in itself , he knew almost nothing about the detail, and he doubted Pezzie knew much more herself but this had caused a new dilemma , he had just blindly killed damned thinking he was freeing them maybe he wasn't if they could be cured was it now murdering , if the son had resist the urges to attack thye could still be conscious , then the old man ,back in his own town ,came to his mind he wouldn't kill some , because he knew them maybe he was right , what if some of the damned that day, wouldn't attack him , he had killed them regardless , he felt guilty , he had convince himself but the girl too . He heard Pezzie shuffle
-perfect timing , we should arrive soon, what do we have on the menu , said Jebedaiah
-oh my god , is a good morning too much to ask around here, she answered , im feeling like chocolate chip cookie is a good option
- good enough for me , he said laughing
Jebedaiah was feeling a mixture of excitement , and worries , the last town they had visited seemed like a good place , he had left with a positive feeling , he was even planning on returning it , the other part was thinking logically , it has been a while now that the outbreak had started the chance that Justin had survive were minimal maybe he had made a mistake passing on the opportunity.
They entered the town , it was quiet almost too quiet
-I don't think anyone live here , we should leave , said Pezzie
- Chance are a there is only a small group of survivor ,probably hole up in a couple of building ,make sure your weapon is charged ,answered Jebedaiah
They walk deeper into the town , nobody, he had noticed at the entrance that something wasn't right,then he felt Pezzie tugging on his shirt , pointing in a direction. There was two damned , but they were standing still, they could be a problem , but if they weren't alone, using the gun would be a mistake , they were far enough and didn't know the terrain ,if they were going to beat every infected with a bat , it seemed as risky as using the gun, just how many of them were hiding maybe it was only two but he was doubting that fact.
• I see them , let keep them in mind , said Jebedaiah
• Why are they standing around, ask Pezzie
• This place is weird , im not sure what is going on around here, added Jebedaiah
• We are leaving , said Pezzie
He couldn't agree more , theyre was no survivor in this town, that was for sure , unfortunately there was another group of three damned , they followed a second road but it was blocked too, shit , he thought. They were surrounded ,there had to be a way , he took out his weapon ,so did Pezzie , suddenly a group of damned emerge , but it was very different . the group were growling and being aggressive , but they weren't attacking. What was even more odd, was in the group they were three damn that stood out . they were different, a lot more human looking , they stood up straighter .One of them growled , the other move right after , as if he had given an order . Pezzie pointed her gun at the damned .Another damned came , Jebedaiah felt tears in his eyes , that damned, he looked so much like Justin it was terrifying , was he making it up ,was it Justin , could it be the son he was looking for all along , was he always infected. This time , the new infected ,growled a different growled than he was used to hearing and to his surprise the infected stopped moving shortly after, now this time he knew , it had been an order , there was a hierarchy, there could be different classes , some were more intelligent . He didn't know how or even why, he recalled what the old man had said , his son didn't attack him, was he somehow different ,he look again at the damned , it was looking at him
-We need to go , said Pezzie
- We can learn so much , fine ok lets go , said Jebedaiah
They ran out of the town, the infected weren't attacking them nor were they following,it was odd. They manage to get out of the town arrived at the car

• You almost got us killed , screamed Pezzie
Jebedaiah looked at the young women , didn't she see what he had seen, the infected didn't attack them
• Its ok , we are safe now , tried Jeb
• No its not okay, I told you we should have left when we entered that town , said the girl now crying , Justin is dead realise that , we aren't , we are survivor and we have to fight for our survi val
• In the group of infected , I think, I saw him,Justin I mean , I think he is the one who saved us
