Chapter Pezzie
Pezzie was worried , Ben had been gone for three days , thankfully it was normal for him to leave that long , couple of people ask his whereabout but no one seem really worried , well no one except her and Parker , Ben could take care of himself plus he was with Simon .But she had no time to waste she had a meeting with the chemist,
She had ask him , for recipe to make small bomb or even something that could deal some damage , was easy to make and was quick to use .He knew abut the horde he was one of the fie , thankfully he didn’t ask too many question. She only had one task before , she had ask the person in charge of the inventory to categorize all firearm and ammo . She kissed Parker before she left , looking at his face told her that he was still worried .
-All hope isn’t lost , honey , she said , we are more than you think and I have a great plan .
She was hoping for a smile , a stupid joke almost anything other than seeing him sad , he had always been her goofball , but she had fell in love with the positive leader side of him , the side who would comfort other the little noisy loud brute that he was . She wasn’t use to seeing him , be so reserved . She had to win this fight , she couldn’t bare her last memory of the only boyfriend she ever had be ta sad one . She was on her way , when she was stopped by Rebecca . She hadn’t seen her in so long ,why did she look worried , Thomaz and her were pretty close, she hope they didn’t know what was really going on , she had a speech planned but it wasn’t ready .

She had spoken with the chemist , what was these suggestion , if they were already helping this would be a game changer

Everyone wanted to talked it seemed ,today of all day , she had half a mind to just ignore it . But when she turned around she saw Brian , the leader of the militant town.

He seemed very tense , almost worried . It hit her like a tsunami , The military twon was also a possible target of their new enemie

Being a leader had certain advantage like the fact that she could commandeer any house they entered the first house they found ,

Im afraid I bring horrible news , your intel was right , confirming it cost us Ben , one of yours , my condolence .In his honor we did some reckon , its worse than you though there is a minimum of five hundred .Most of them seemed like zombies the dangerous kind , we need to be the ones who do the first move , we need to attack them where they are , trap them like rat, Them give them all we got .
Her heart sank , Ben was dead , She didn’t even know how to share the news with Parker , she had been the one to send him . Also the number had increased , for a second she was submerged by a new fear , there was a chance that some of the added number came from zombie land , she didn’t care for the zombie , her community , Hell a human life was always worth way more , but she had made a promise to Jeb.After he died she promise not to kill Justin, more like make sure he survived she didn’t want to have to break the promise . She thought her bond with the zombie leader was good , sure they didn’t talk , but neither she or it was attacking each other , in the apocalypse that was way more than the equivalent of we are cool
-I don’t think we have enough ammo, I think we will have to rely on queen gambit, said Pezzie
She saw Brian reacted , she couldnt blame the sarge , nobody liked those scavenger , they were a bunch of crooked but now wasny exactly the time for compromises . Her needs of ammo was greater than the dislike for the nomad .
-I know , i know she said , i dont like it anymore than you do but theyre nothing else we can do .
She amd Brian went back to her house to get the flare gun , pretty primitive but it was the only way to contact them , it would alert her people too , they never used it . She knew that using this was the first step of the most important battle , she looked at sarge , he looked back and smile . She was thankful for the man , he didnt have to be here , he was serious about uniting the two town , she didnt have to face it alone and that knowledge alone gave her the strength she needed to come clean and make an announcement .

You could hear question being asked , people worrying , complain about queen gambit coming back . It was a beehive , Pezzie didnt know what to do ... she was nineteen , no matter how much experience she had , she was nervous . She felt the strong hand of the sarge on her shoulder , it felt good , she remembered Jeb doing the same thing in moment off doubt . She close her eyes , when she opened them ,she felt like the queen of the beehive .

The voices subdued it was complete silence it was her moment to lead .

It was a mistake she had so much more to say , the people had restarted to speak , they were fearfull .

But he had spoken to a crowd who wasnt listening , they had tried and fail to encourage the people to fight . The fight was already hard , it would be impossible to win with a crowd not willing to give it there all

The crowd , had stopped she could see the person who just spoke it was Parker you could tell he had cry .

It definitely not how she had planned talking to the crowd but they were listening
- We need to stand unite ! There is an army of them in the city , we have a chance together but everyone need to give it there all , we might not make it , as a matter of fact we most probably wont make it but look at this place . Look at the person next to you .Arent they worth dying for ? Is the future of whats left not worth fighting for ? I say they are , i can sincerely say , that i would fight for everyone of you .
