ERIN SEIMOUR
"What?! Are you trying to deceive us?!!" Zelmar angrily said.
"Of course not. Have you even heard about the first report during the reign of king Zephron, that there's a couple who took in a baby from a forest. That's him. He was taken cared of by these people. He will get mad if something happened to all of them, and might go against his father if he'll know what you will do... That his father's slaves killed the ones who took him in and cares for him until this very day.. "
"We're not his slaves!!!!" Remzel exclaimed. "But, yeah, you have a point!! We couldn't take that risk either... --But--hey! Wait, you're not really fooling us, are you?!!!" he blunted.
The other one is thinking.. Everyone is just so quiet in fear and anticipation.
"Well, so what if he's telling the truth, that master's precious son is one of them, we can't afford to make a mistake!! Or else the lord will never forgive us if we turn his only son against him! Surely our heads shall be served in a cold platter!!!" Zelmar said, worrying about the consequences.
My plan worked. They seemed to believe me. Now, I made them fear us.
I looked at behind me, and saw Ceres stopping her daughter from interfering. That prideful woman, she's always been a bonehead that talks like she always know things. She's the same with her brother that is no better than a muscle head.
The two Elites are speechless and still thinking deeply. One of them is impatient and asked, "Remzel, what now?! We can't risk it if it's true!"
"O-okay, okay!! I've decided!" he said.
"What is it?!" Zelmar asked.
"We're not going to annihilate you, for now! But, if ever you lied to us, be prepared! Wherever you are, we can find you!" he replied.
"And how are you going to do that?" Clyde raised the question that I don't even want to know. And I know everyone will agree even without asking them. The traces of fear are showing on their faces.
I don't know if he's a real stupid to question an Elite hollow or not. But, maybe he has this innate nonchalance in him.
These two just smirked at us. "We have our own ways.." Zelmar said.
"And that is.. we're gonna take one of you! Hmm.." Remzel said pointing his finger on someone.
"What?! You can't take one of us!!" Ariona shouted. They're pointing at Ceres.
"You can't have our father!!!" Avis too, shouted at them.
"Take it easy! We just need him so that your fellow man over here will trade the Half-kind we want in exchange for your puny father!"
Suddenly, one of Remzel's hand that actually came out of his back, stretched like rotten roots and grabbed Ceres out of our sight. It's so fast that I could believe they can absolutely wipe us all out in an instant.
"No!!!! Father!!!!!!" Ariona shouted.
Ceres is speechless but his face is vague, serious, but more like observing. I feel he couldn't move nor speak because he's too afraid to do so.
Suddenly, Remzel's monstrous hand pulls him and carries him, hangs him in the air.
"You mongrels!!! Give him back to us!!!" Avis is mad. It's his father, then, in a quick decision without thinking twice, he strikes them. Both of them dodged Avis's attack. They flipped through the air. They have eyes that glowed like we have, but it's different, it glowed so dark, and has the color of death, the color of bones and blood.
