I woke up in the afternoon and saw Orthyl alone on the small sala, standing near the window. His back is in a slouch position, his elbows are resting on the window plane, and his cheeks were supported by his hands. He looks depress, longing, and lonely.
When I walk closer to see him, I was surprised to see some of his tears falling.
I don't want to be so nosy, but I didn't able to stop my mouth before I could even think of not disturbing him.
"Orthyl? Why are you crying?" I asked.
He turned to see me in surprise, then, he immediately wipe his tears.
"I--I'm sorry, I don't know you're there." he says.
I come beside him to look at what he is seeing there from the window. The sky is a little bit different now, than the first time I saw it. There are no wild creatures, no wild beasts, but beautiful lights and glowing butterflies. The moons are closer and it's beginning to light all the things underneath them including the peculiar structures of houses and cabins we have here.
"You didn't sleep?"
"No.. well, not that I really didn't. I just can't.." he answers as he slouches again on the window plane.
"I'm waiting for Zephyr... to come back.." he inhaled and exhaled an air first, forcing himself not to be triggered with sadness again before continuing. "along with my family." he continues to say with sincerity as he sniffs a little. He looks at the sky where I'm looking.
"You told me about it before, that you were adopted by a small family. I guess, they're the ones you were waiting." I asked, looking at him.
Orthyl nodded without looking at me.
"Yes." he said. "They're are the ones I told you before. And I'm so nervous... It's been such a long time that we've seen each other. That's when... my curse acted up. That's the first time I used my power. After that, I was thrown out in the wild, outside Port Vulgotha."
Then, he looked at me with an agonizing expression, like it was happened just a while ago.
I contracted my brows. "May I know the story behind why you used your power that time, and how you ended up outside?" I'm asking permission, though I want to ask him directly.
I want to know so many things about what happened to him.
"Who threw you out?" I asked again.
