"Okay, baby sis, take care of yourself, don't answer the door for strangers and -"
"I know Sash, I'm not twelve." Alisha responded over the phone cutting her sister off.
Sasha missed the younger Ali who was too scared to spend even a second alone and wanted to hang out with her sisters all the time.
She appreciated that she was getting older and becoming more independent but she really missed the days when her sister needed her.
"Okay, but one more thing... no boys past 10. Meaning no Sean past 10." Sasha spoke even though she knew that Alisha was already too scared to invite Sean home because of their father.
"You definitely don't have to worry about that." Alisha muttered dryly. "I gotta go, Sash, Sab and I are about to get our nails done and watch reruns of Clueless."
Alisha hang up before Sasha could even say 'goodnight'. But she definitely hadn't missed the little comment that Alisha had made about Sean and she was concerned.
Tyler had done what she had asked and talked to Sean. And according to him, Sean told him that things were going great between him and Ali.
Sasha didn't know if she believed it. Alisha sure didn't seem as happy as Sean claimed she should be.
She couldn't help but wonder if she should just sit Ali down and ask her herself what was going on.
"Hey, your majesty! Are you going to help or not?" Bonnie called out from where her and Elena were in the Gilbert kitchen.
Sasha walked into the room and folded her arms across her chest looking at both girls in amusement.
"Help with what? Everything's been done for us already." Sasha spoke as she looked around at the takeout boxes that had just arrived Elena was trying to pass them off as a homecooked meal.
Elena shot her a dirty look and Sasha just smiled.
"You talked to Ali?" Bonnie asked as she leaned against the island.
"Yep, her and Sabrina are in their jimjams watching TV. Dad should be back home by 8 so no stress."
"Cool." Bonnie nodded.
"Ali's home alone?" Elena asked.
"Yep." Sasha responded.
"Gosh, it feels like it was just yesterday when she wouldn't want to be left in her room alone." Elena commented.
"I know right. One minute she needs her nightlight, the next, she's sleeping soundly without it. I cannot handle this growth thing." Bonnie spoke with a wistful sigh.
"I wish her and Jer were still on good terms. She could have just hang out with us here." Elena spoke.
Sasha thought about how -when they were younger - her, Bonnie and Elena constantly used to talk about imaginary scenarios where Jeremy and Alisha would get married and they would become actual siblings.
Well that definitely wasn't going as planned.
"She's with Sabrina. She'll be fine." Bonnie said. "I bet Ali is wearing her Hello Kitty pjs with those ugly yellow socks that she loves."
"Oh my gosh, are you trying to do the witchy predicting thing again?" Sasha sighed as she walked towards the island and pushed herself on top of the counter
She was honestly surprised that this whole coincidence thing that had been happening between the two of them wasn't freaking her sister out as much as it had been freaking Sasha out.
