Stefan

"Whoo!" Sasha whooped as she sent the last ball into the hole.

She turned to grin at Matt.

"You're buying me another lemonade, loser!" She told him.

Matt rolled his eyes before digging into his pocket and removing his wallet.

"I guess a deal is a deal." He spoke as he handed her the money. "When exactly did you get so good at this game anyway?"

Sasha thought about the nights she spent playing pool at the Lockwood manor and found herself frowning.

"Practice." Was all she told Matt, hoping he wouldn't see her sudden change in mood.

Fortunately Matt had been too busy recollecting the balls to notice.

"Yeah, right. Wanna go again? This time, when you lose, you can get me a soda."

Sasha smirked at Matt. "Well -"

At that moment the door to the grill opened and Sasha saw her twin sister walk in with Caroline.

"Sorry Matty, I need some girl time. Play Tyler." Sasha spoke, pointing at the Lockwood boy who was smiling at his phone.

Probably texting some poor girl. Sasha thought.

She turned around and headed towards the table Bonnie and Caroline had just settled at.

"Oh right on time." Bonnie spoke, brightening up when she saw Sasha. "You will never believe how much Care here already knows about the new guy."

Sasha rose her brows at Caroline, as she pulled back a chair and sat next to her sister.

"Well spill it FBI Forbes." She told her.

Caroline looked exactly like she did whenever their teacher would ask her to show their projects in school; excited and giddy.

The blonde leaned forward to address the twins.

"Well, his name is Stefan Salvatore. He lives with his uncle up at the old Salvatore Boarding House. He hasn't lived here since he was a kid. Military family, so they moved around a lot. He's a Gemini, and his favorite color is blue."

Sasha sat back impressed. "Well, damn."

Caroline smiled proudly. "I know."

"You got all of that in one day?" Bonnie asked in shock.

Caroline tossed her blonde locs back. "Oh, please, I got all that between third and fourth period. We're planning a June wedding."

Sasha laughed. "Please, we all know the new guy is already smitten over Elena."

Sasha had been looking forward to having a new guy to fool around with this semester. Especially someone as hot as this Stefan guy.

But even she couldn't deny it. She didn't believe in love at first sight but with the way Stefan had been staring at Elena; first in the hallway and then in History class, she knew that even she probably wouldn't have a chance.

"As far as I see it, the new guy just got here. So he's still fair game." Caroline spoke.

Sasha just sighed. If Caroline wanted to go that route and break her own heart, it wasn't her problem. At least she warned her.

"Do you ladies want some beverages? On me." Caroline offered.

"Iced tea please." Bonnie chirped up.

"Lemonade for me." Sasha spoke.

"Got it." Caroline spoke before getting up.

Sasha turned to Bonnie.

"You have told Care that she's being delusional, right?"
