"So you signed up for the school play? That's great baby girl." Rudy spoke as Alisha handed him one last soapy plate to rinse off.

Alisha smiled. "Thanks dad, I had my audition yesterday, it went really well." She spoke as she closed the tap and wiped her hands on her apron.

"Well I haven't seen you on a stage in a while." Rudy spoke. "I can't wait to see you shine."

Rudy leaned in to place a kiss on Alisha's forehead.

To be honest, Alisha was really looking forward to this.

She wanted normalcy back into her life.

The nightmares had finally stopped. She didn't think about Sean or feeling trapped as much anymore.

For the first time in a long time, she actually felt better.

"Just please don't cheer too loudly this time." Alisha spoke, sighing.

Her father was so supportive and she adored him for it. But he could go overboard when it came to yelling out in the crowd.

"Me? Too loud?" Rudy asked offended.

"I don't even know what we just walked into but yes dad, I agree, you are too loud." Bonnie spoke as she stepped into the kitchen, Sasha on her tail.

Sasha picked up a berry from the set island. "What are we talking about?" She asked.

"Dad cheering like a mad man whenever he's in the audience for one of us." Alisha explained.

Bonnie walked over to the tap to get a glass of water. "Oh totally. Don't even get me started on my chess tournament."

Rudy scoffed. "Those judges were just lame. Ain't nothing wrong with me supporting my baby girl."

"Daddy you kept hooting and hollering at my third grade dance recital. The other mums were so uncomfortable." Alisha whined.

"They were lame too." Rudy pointed out.

"I play soccer so I have no problem with your loudness." Sasha shrugged.

Rudy grinned and held out his hand for Sasha to high five.

Bonnie and Alisha looked at each other and rolled their eyes.

"Okay, we gotta get going." Bonnie announced grabbing her car keys.

"Founders day, prep?" Rudy asked.

"Unfortunately." Sasha groaned.

"Oh my gosh, I almost forgot that you're gonna have to wear a corset tomorrow." Alisha spoke knowing it would irritate Sasha.

Sasha groaned. The idea of having to stand on the float and be paraded around like a mannequin irked her.

"Let's not forget the gown." Bonnie joined in the teasing.

Sasha groaned again. "If either of you love me, you'll take my place."

Alisha and Bonnie shared a look. Then they both turned back to look at Sasha.

"Nah." They spoke simultaneously.

"Arg, I hate you both!" Sasha yelled at them as they giggled.

Rudy shook his head at his girls smiling.

"When you guys get back, I'm gonna have some barbecue waiting for you so come back hungry."

"Aye, aye captain." Alisha spoke giving him a mock salute.

"We really should get going." Bonnie spoke looking at her watch.

"Let me just grab my bag." Alisha spoke before turning around and rushing up to her room.
