"No friend discounts. No freebies. No pay ya laters. We are not running a charity here. No, we are not." Caroline spoke out loud.

The parking lot of Mystic Falls high was filled with activity as a people showed up to support the fundraising event hosted by the school.

sat on the hood of Tyler's car, and looked at Caroline blankly.

No one could tell her Caroline didn't have leadership qualities. Honestly, if she hadn't been the one to head these things so firmly, things wouldn't go as smoothly and money would probably be lost.

But of course Sasha wouldn't say that out loud.

"How long do you think Caroline wants us here?" Tyler asked, emerging from his car in a tank top and shorts. "I have places to be."

"Knowing Caroline, we'll be here as long as there are cars to be washed. Which could be hours." Sasha turned to look at him lazily. "Where do you have to be, anyway?"

"I have a hot date." Tyler announced proudly.

Sasha lowered her shades to look at Tyler.

"That was quick."

She knew Tyler had it somewhat easy with girls but she had been under the impression that Tyler had been serious about Vicki.

She hadn't been expecting him to move on this quickly.

"What can I say? I have needs."

"Gross." Sasha spoke, waving him off with her floppy hat.

"Hey guys." Matt walked over to his friends.

He was wearing a black tank and shorts, carrying an empty bucket.

"Hey." Sasha muttered.

Tyler looked at her.

"What's up with you two?" He asked knowing there must have been a reason Sasha's tone was so cold.

"Ask Matt." Sasha responded sarcastically

She always had a problem with holding grudges and her best friend was unfortunately not an exception.

Matt rolled his eyes. "Are you seriously still mad?"

"Depends, are you gonna keep getting mad at me because Elena is with someone else?" She shot back.

Matt's face fell. "That wasn't what that was about."

"Then what was it about?" Sasha asked.

Matt sighed. "Nothing. It was about nothing." He replied gruffly.

Sasha rolled her eyes.

Matt usually wasn't the immature one who refused to apologise. That was all Tyler. But it seemed Matt was taking a page from his playbook and refusing to admit something so simple.

Unfortunately for him, Sasha could be petty too.

"Well talk to me when you remember she spoke as she slid off the hood and walked away."

She spotted Elena standing by the sidewalk and walked over to her.

"Could you look any more lonely?" She asked.

Elena turned to look at her.

"Do you always have to notice?" Elena asked with a sigh.

"Only because you make it so obvious." Sasha responded. "What's up Gilbert?"

Sasha was still getting used to this Elena. She was still her, it just that... before the accident, Elena had been the princess of this place. The type of person who constantly took part in everything. Really, she was almost as enthusiastic as Caroline.
