"Ow! Ow! Oooow!" Sasha yelled.

"Sorry." Bonnie spoke. "But I gotta get this closed."

She pulled harder on the strings of the corset around Sasha's waist.

Sasha gripped the edge of the bed in front of her.

"I freaking hate the 1860s." She huffed.

Alisha came rushing into the wrong holding a small box. "I got some safety pins." She watched Bonnie still struggling with the corset.

"If that will help." She added warily.

"At this rate I will have to cut myself out of this dress." Sasha huffed.

"One last pull." Bonnie struggled.

Sasha sucked in a deep breath allowing Bonnie to fit it the last clasp.

"There." Bonnie breathed out looking more tired from the effort than Sasha.

Sasha huffed. She walked over to the mirror and examined herself.

"So the goal is not to be able to eat or breathe. Got it." Sasha muttered.

Alisha walked up to her standing behind her in the mirror.

"You look like the Belle of the ball." She spoke as she fluffed up Sasha's natural curls.

She wasn't lying either. Sasha looked like the prettiest girl alive in her opinion.

Red was definitely her colour.

Sasha pushed a curl out of her face.

"I hope you'll be telling me that when I faint on that float."

"Don't worry. I'll be there to catch you, sis." Bonnie spoke as she walked up and hugged Sasha from behind causing her to roll her eyes.

Alisha smiled at her sisters. She had always believed that Sasha and Bonnie had gotten all the amazing genes from their mother. Both with their sharp facial features and perfect bodies.

Alisha had always been shorter, with a more round face and chubbier cheeks.

No where next to the 'conventional beauty' category Bonnie and Sasha fell into.

Sasha looked at Alisha.

"You know if you're not up for crowds today, we can totally stay in." Sasha spoke.

Alisha knew how concerned Sasha had been. Alisha had spent the night in her room today with Bonnie as well.

She didn't want to admit it but having her sisters around did make her feel safer.

"No. I want to go." Alisha spoke even though she didn't really want to be in a crowd of people where anything could happen.

"Besides Sabrina will kill me if I miss this."

Alisha didn't want her fears to stand in the way of her being there for her sister and her friend.

"Okay." Bonnie spoke with a smile. "Bennett family outing it is."

"Minus dad." Sasha muttered knowing their father would rather go fishing with buddies than be bothered by Founders month.

Lucky him.

"And don't worry." Bonnie told Alisha. "I have a feeling the town's gonna be so much safer after today."

Sasha looked at Bonnie wondering what she meant by that.

"Say cheese!" Bonnie instructed.

Alisha, Caroline and Matt beamed at the camera. The two girls stood on either side of him.
