"Are you sure about this?" Ali asked Anna hesitantly as they arrived at the park.

Ali could see Jeremy in the distance. He was seated under a tree reading through a notebook with earphones plugged into his ears.

Anna looked irritated. "Why would I lie?" She asked getting impatient.

Alisha turned to face her, she folded her arms across her chest. "You're talking like you've given me reasons to trust you when in reality all you've done is lie and trick me and threaten to hurt the people I love!"

Anna sighed. She knew that she had acted with the intention to get her mother back and nothing else and she hadn't really thought about what would happen after. All she had known is that she would be with her mother and it wouldn't matter where they would end up.

But here she was, still in Mystic Falls where she had done things that she now regretted.

She understood why Alisha was so skeptical about her. Hell a few weeks ago, she didn't even like Alisha Bennett all that much. And she still didn't feel particularly fond of her but still... she had no choice but to come to her. She's the only one who she didn't expect to bite her head off at first glance.

"Look, this isn't about you or me or what happened with Sean. It's about Jeremy. You and I both care about him and I'm worried. So I came to you. Because we had common ground." Anna spoke.

She didn't realise how the mention of Sean made her stiffen.

It didn't make a difference that he apparently wasn't in Mystic Falls anymore, he had left a mark on her and she didn't know if it would heal.

"Jeremy is the only reason I'm here." Alisha hissed. "After this, never speak to me again." She demanded.

Bonnie and Sasha had been watching her like hawks, not letting her out of sight. If it wasn't for both of them being busy with Miss Mystic Falls today, Ali wouldn't have had any opportunity to sneak away.

And if they knew she was meeting Anna, she knew they would both go crazy.

"Deal." Anna spoke. It's not like she wanted to force Alisha Bennett to be her new BFF or anything.

This was strictly about Jeremy.

Alisha sucked in a deep breath and looked at the chestnut haired boy.

With how they had left things she didn't know how he would take seeing her.

All she knew is that the idea of talking to him made her stomach churn.

"He knows about vampires." Alisha spoke in a small voice, a repetition of what Anna had told her the day before in the bathroom at the Grill.

Anna nodded. "He figured it out somehow... I think he started piecing things together after the tomb..."

"Not to mention the cheat sheet you handed him." Alisha spoke referring to all the 'help' Anna had offered on Jeremy's assignment.

Anna rolled her eyes not appreciating Alisha's snarkiness.

"Okay, mean girl, relax. I only gave him those things -"

"To find your mother. Got it." Alisha spoke.

Now that she heard herself, she did sound mean. And it made her feel bad. She wasn't a rude person or someone who liked making others feel bad.

But her guard was especially up when it came to Anna. She didn't want to be played or tricked. So everything she was saying was coming out offensive even though she didn't mean to.

Anna ignored Alisha's jab and reminded herself why she was here.

"Anyway, as I was saying, some days ago he cut his hand and tempted me so that I would feed on him."
