Alisha woke up. Her head ached and her mind felt foggy, like she had been drugged.
She sat up on an unfamiliar bed and looked around the room in confusion.
It looked like a basic motel room with two twin bed in it.
She saw Elena asleep on the other bed and she immediately tried to recall what had happened.
Sean. Sean had done this to her. Sean had brought her here.
He had betrayed her.
There was someone else in the room. A dark haired guy asleep on a chair in front of the beds.
Alisha swallowed hard. Was that Ben Mckittrick?
He had been a senior at their school when she was only a freshman.
And he's the guy Bonnie had said she was going on a date with.
Wait, was he in on this?
Alisha looked at Elena.
It didn't matter whether he was in on this or not.
She had to get out of here.
"Elena." She whispered. "Lena."
Alisha turned back to Ben grateful he was still asleep.
Elena groggily woke up.
She gasped and sat up frantically and looked around.
She saw Ben and then turned to look at Alisha who had a frightened look on her face.
Elena recalled what had happened to her. That girl... that girl had brought her here and dosed her with something that had made her pass out.
Elena looked at Alisha and placed a finger to her lip, telling the trembling girl she needed to be quiet.
Elena then carefully slid off the bed trying to be as quiet as she could be.
She turned to Alisha and instructed her to do the same.
Alisha looked like she was on the verge of tears.
She threw her legs over the bed and stood up.
Elena nodded at her encouraging her.
She outstretched her hand to her encouraging Alisha to walk towards her.
Alisha did so, moving slowly, not wanting to make a sound at all.
Elena felt relieved when Alisha got to her and she held the younger girl's hand in her own.
She turned and directed both of them to the door.
Elena looked back to make sure Ben was still asleep.
She then sucked in a deep breath and turned the lock on the door, just as she was preparing to open it, she heard a voice that made her jump.
"I wouldn't." Ben spoke.
Elena gasped and spun around. Ben sped towards her and Elena instinctively pushed Alisha behind her.
Ben looked into Elena's eyes not overly bothered with Alisha.
"Don't try to escape. Don't even move. Do you understand?" He spoke, his pupils dilating.
Alisha was freaked out as she watched Elena just stare at him. It's the same thing Sean had done to her.
He had controlled her by just looking into her eyes and speaking.
"I understand." Elena repeated.
Ben scoffed clearly impressed with himself. He turned to look at Alisha.
