"I still see your silhouette
I wish we'd never met
I'm living with the ghost of you
You still visit me in bed
Got visions in my head
It's like I'm having déjà-vu
I still hear you in the hallway
Voices calling my name
Tell me what you want from me
White noise coming from the TV
Nobody believes me that

It felt like the beginning
At least it did to me
And it is what it is
And it's just what it will be

She's all that I wanted
She's so unreal to me
And now this house is haunted
She's just make-believe

Maybe it was all a dream 'cause
That's the way it seems
A flicker in the dark again
I feel like such a lonely creature
Don't know how to reach her
Don't know how to tell my friends that
I'm caught up in my delusion
Drown in my confusion
They will think I'm losing it
White noise coming from the TV
Nobody believes me that

It felt like the beginning
At least it did to me
And it is what it is
And it's just what it will be

She's all that I wanted
She's so unreal to me
And now this house is haunted
She's just make-believe

You're still here even though you're gone
You disappear when the lights come on
You're still the one that I dream about
Now I'm stuck in a nightmare and I can't get out
Hear you say my name
Feel you touch my skin
Know it's all in my head
But I keep giving in
You were the one I always wanted
You were the one that left me haunted

White noise coming from the TV
Do you believe me yet?

She's all that I wanted
She's so unreal to me
And now this house is haunted
She's just make-believe
She's all that I wanted
She's so unreal to me
And now this house is haunted
She's just make-believe" Matt finished singing through the song, lifting his eyes from the strings to meet each of his bandmates slowly. But as they start to talk LoLo is in a totally different world, a world filled with the same boy, the same guitar, and the night he'd first sang for her.

"Matt, Matt!" He turns quickly as he hears her calling, an smile spreading across her face as he makes eye contact with her.

"Hey Lyss, what's up?" He smiles, Lifting his guitar case onto his shoulder.

"Please, please, please tell me you aren't doing anything tonight?" She nearly begs.

"My moms got a night shift, I'm headed home to hang out with my sisters, why?"

"My dad is having a business dinner at the house and I hate his doctor friends, they're all boring or creepy."

"You can come to mine, my sisters will love it actually."

"My knight in shining armor, let's go." She agrees quickly.

"Was that a pun?" He rolls his eyes at her as he laughs.

"There is a one hundred percent chance it was." She nods, easily falling in step beside him as they head for the front doors of the school.

"So Manhattan, ever been on the subway?" He smirks as he leads her off the steps of the school.

"Yes." She scoffs, "Once."

"Wow, to live with such privilege." He laughs, watching as she tucks a strand of her long blonde hair back. Acknowledging fondly the way the normally straight locks have a soft wave to them that he knows comes from the bun she has it in all afternoon for ballet.
