Mei and Harumin lifted Yuzu and she was surprisingly lightweight well at least it was a surprise to Mei as she heard a low voice to her left say "as expected" she looked at Harumin, she didn't know if she was talking about Yuzu's weight or something else so she just shrugged and continued walking
the thing is Mei was always Impressed by Harumin, she didn't look like the type to be intelligent, her scores are average and she wasn't 100% following the rules, Mei saw her as the first person she knew who genuinely is having fun in her life, but whenever Harumin talked to her it shocked Mei how matured she is, Harumin always in serious topics or when she tries to comfort Mei she talks with such wisdom like an old woman or like Mei's mom..

when they reached the nurse's office they put Yuzu in bed and went out of the room to talk while waiting for Yuzu to wake up..
"hey, what about classes ?" Himeko asked as she completely forgot they have classes and upcoming test
"as student council members I wouldn't worry about them, right now I'm only concerned for Yuzu" Mei said closing her eyes thinking about her past memories with Yuzu but then a recent memory hit her like a rock
"wh-who are y-you"
Mei felt like crying but tried to contain her feelings, but of course...
"wow, nice one pre-... Mei ?" Harumin looked at Mei and noticed she was on the verge of tears
"um.. Maruta you can go to your classes or the council room" Harumin looked at Maruta with a look that told her please go..
after Maruta left Mei's eyes widened in shock as she found herself engulfed in a warm hug "Harumin what are you-"
"shhhhh, what did I tell you about keeping your emotions inside" Harumin patted Mei's back and Mei felt her tears finally flowing down..
"let it allll out Mei"
Mei broke down crying and hugged Harumin tightly for comfort and Harumin looked behind Mei finding Himeko crying silently
"come here Himeko" Himeko didn't wait to be told twice as she quickly joined the hug and cried with Mei
"don't worry, mama Harumin is here.. everything will be okay"
"w-why... d-didn't... she... k-know me" Mei said while crying "five years... I waited for five years crying for her to come back"
"Mei.. remember what you told Maruta? we will have a good explanation.. so all we have to do now is wait" Harumin paused and looked at the crying mess they were in "maybe she didn't leave you on purpose, maybe something happened to her.. we don't know so we have to wait ok ?"
after some more crying and waiting...
finally, they heard groaning from the bed "remember what I told you, stay outside and let me handle it"
"But I want to be there" Mei said looking at the ground
"if I find out it's not what I think I will let you inside, but for now just wait"
Mei just nodded and Harumin entered the room finding Yuzu opening her eyes
"well hello there" Harumin said happily
"where am I ?" Yuzu asked weakly holding her head
"you are in the nurse's office, my name is Harumi Taniguchi but you can call me Harumin, I would like to ask some questions"
"Yeah and what are you an investigator or something"
"well not really, I just want to make sure you are ok.. so mind telling me your name ?"
"Yuzu Okogi.."
"Okogi! ?.. but aren't you an Aihara now ?"
Yuzu felt rage inside of her and looked at Harumin with angry eyes but just said "whatever"
"What happened to you back there you held the girl with one hand that was quite impressive"
Yuzu stayed quiet not wanting to talk about it but also questioning the girl, she wasn't upset about almost hurting the student council member but she was impressed by it!
"How strong are you exactly"
"I don't know"
"Why did you do it, why did you get angry at her ?"
"...I don't know"
"Listen to me, this can lead to expelling or even worse prison if you don't explain yourself now so you better cooperate with me"
"......I don't KNOW!.. ALL I KNOW is if you made me choose between my hair and school I WILL GLADLY LET THE SCHOOL GO TO HELL" Yuzu shouted in anger and got out of the bed
"and where do you think you are going ?" Harumin raised an eyebrow
"... home, I don't want to be here right now" Yuzu said weakly and didn't know why she started shedding tears.. she gave Harumin her back and started walking towards the door
"hey what about Mei and Himeko ?" Harumin asked wanting to see her reaction as this is the sole purpose of her being here
Yuzu gasped and felt her headache coming back so she held her head and said in pain "I-I don't know who are you talking about"
Harumin noticed her behavior and knew she was right
Meanwhile...
Mei and Himeko were listening to the whole conversation
"I-I don't know who are you talking about"
Mei cried silently and quickly went to the student council room and Himeko followed her hearing a door closing behind them but kept walking
they entered the room finding Maruta working on some paperwork
she wanted to ask them about the situation but when she saw the state they are in she decided it's not the time
it was her first time seeing the president crying her heart out, the first time seeing her ignoring everything around here and showing her true feelings.. it was strange but she was happy for her and sad at the same time
moments later Harumin knocked and entered the room "haah.. I suppose you heard it"
"so what happened ? all that waiting and what did you get ?" Maruta said glaring at Harumin
"nothing much.. but I made sure of something"
"what ? she won't come here again ?" Maruta felt glares coming from Mei and Himeko and felt nervous despite being the older one in the room
"that..I don't know of, but now I am certain Mei and Himeko are the reason for her pain"
"How ?"
"sorry prez I only have a reason not an explanation... btw isn't she an Aihara, is she related to you Mei ?"
"I don't know"
"What to do now ?" Himeko asked tired of the day
"go home" Harumin said softly
"but we still have classes" Mei said getting up
Harumin put her hand on her shoulder "Mei screw the attendance if you can't concentrate trust me go home we will know everything some other time"
"but I can just pretend everything is ok"
"NO.. no more hiding your feelings, you have done that enough so go home.. NOW"
Mei looked into Harumin's eyes and nodded sadly and left the academy heading to her new home
"new home new family let's see how they are".. ".... Yuzu!! ?"
