While all of that was happening, tall and small figures were observing the scene from a building rooftop

Ume was sleeping with her arms around Mei but she sensed someone else in the house as she heard a sound she haven't heard in a long time... "I knew that will happen one day" she opened her eyes and carefully moved away from Mei and opened her drawer to find an old box she kept hidden, she opened the box and got her sword "hey old friend.. glad I can hold you again" she got out of the room and went to the living room
"Whoever you are don't be a coward and show yourself"
"You know I'm not a coward... Ume" said the tall girl as she switched on the lights to reveal herself sitting on a chair
"Oh the loyal servant" Ume said as she lowered her weapon
"Please that's just my sister.. and let me tell you, you gave me hell while looking for you. you know I'm on your side so why hide from me"
"I guess if you have an army ready to kill your daughter you would do anything. WHAT do you want, Harumin ?" Ume said as she was tired from all the events of the day
"Nothing just checking on my old friend" Harumin smiled at her friend and mentor
"Yeah I know why you are here, it's because of Yuzu" Ume said as she sat in front of Harumin
"Effects started showing, huh?" Harumin said as she became serious
"Yeah but I'm worried about her after that and I'm worried about Mei" Ume put her hand on her head frustrated
"Yeah I mean we can defend ourselves easy.. and I guess Yuzu when it finally happens, but Mei" Harumin commented
"And if something happened to Mei we know what will happen to Yuzu" Ume continued
"Don't worry she has Yuzu, you and me we will defend her together" Harumin put her hand on her friend's shoulder
"And your sister?"
"I will fight her if I have to" Harumin said with determination in her eyes
"Thank you Harumin but you should go"
"Ok and don't worry I have my eyes on them both at school" Harumin said as she left through the window
"What do I do now" Ume sighed and got up to go to the room again. she put the sword in its place and laid down beside Mei "I will figure it out tomorrow"
