Author's POV

Jimin's mouth went dry hearing the Alpha's words. He didn't knew how to react. Angry? Happy? Confused? It's all numb. The omega wanted to ask why but nothing came out.

But one thing he knew is.... Jeon Jungkook looked broken. The devilish shine in his eyes wasn't there anymore. It was dull. As if he have given up.

"They....They were correct when...when they said...I'm a disgrace..t-to p-pure breeds" Jungkook stammered. Jimin looked at Jungkook his horror as it was the first time he saw tears in the demons eyes but the most scary thing was.....instead of salty water...blood was flowing out.

"J-Jung-gkook" Jimin stood on his knees to reach the demon but sadly...Jungkook moved backward

"D-Dont come near me....I'll scare you off. I...I already d-did didn't I?" Jungkook asked with a sad chuckle

"Jungkook c-come here" Jimin said. He tried to moved more but a shooting pain hit his chest making him choke on his saliva. Jungkook wanted to hold the omega but now he was utterly scared.

"I...did something t-that I wasn't supposed to and...and I'm regretting t-this already....." Jungkook said

"Jungkook-"

"I...made a soft corner for you in my heart in a very short period of time....." Jungkook continued. "I was supposed to kill you...just like they killed...my family...my people....but stupid me! I felt something for you that refrain me from doing my actually work...."

"Then...why didn't you killed me? I..I've already stabbed myself...because of you...yet you saved me?"

Jungkook looked deadly in his eyes and said "A stupid alpha I am, my heart took over my mind...and I saved you, sacrificing my own self, into the hands of dear satan"

"Please come...here" Jimin said gesturing the Alpha to sit beside me. "What will I do, by coming close to you? I...I dont even have a scent now" the Alpha says

"You. You have to explain Jungkook. You need to explain...what made you like this? I wanna look what's going on inside you" Jimin said, now finally getting up from the bed, struggling a little

"Dont get too close, it's dark...inside here. That's where my demons...hide" Jungkook said taking his steps backwards.

"I'll make your demons mine. Let's me get inside" Jimin said stepping closer with wobbly legs

"It will kill you" Jungkook said

"I dont care" Jimin said back

"You dont even know me"

"Then...let me know you" Jimin said as he saw Jungkook stepping backward, hiding in the shadows

"Dont hide" Jimin said. "I'm not" Jungkook said back...more like a whisper.

"Puppy, come here" Jimin whispered. Jungkook stop in his steps and Jimin knew that he wont move backward. The omega approached him carefully...ignoring his pain but then he tripped only for Jungkook to catch him. Jimin felt those wrinkled flesh of the burnt hand as he tried not to feel the horror. The horror that happened with Jungkook in the past

"You should rest" Jungkook said. Jimin holded that Alpha's biseps as he shook his head "I'm fine"

"You are not, my moon" Jungkook lifted Jimin bridal style as Jimin sighed in defeat. "You became more colder" Jimin muttered and in return he received silence

He left the soft mattress in his bed as Jungkook palaced him gently on the bed. He pulled the duvet over the omega and said "Sleep"

"Dont wanna-" Jungkook places his palm on his forehead as unwillingly Jimin fell unconscious.

Jungkook looked at his angelic features and said "I may act strong but....inside my monsters I swallowing me alive. Please save me" and with that the Alpha vanished in thin air

Meanwhile, in the royal library Hoseok and Taehyung were sitting in a large table with piles of books covering it. Hoseok flipped over pages while Taehyung read the manuscripts, that were according to him was alien language.

"Hyung, I cant understand anything" Taehyung said falling back on the chair "These were written five hundred years ago, Taehyung. I've studied about ancient Korean dialects and scripts. Its not that complicated that it seems but they are creepy"

"Creepy?" Taehyung asked. "Yes, the facts are creepy. Like things relative to underworld and those disbelief and rituals preformed earlier. Then some scripts talk about positive side too" hoseok said

"Basically you are telling me that scripts have two parts. First in the positive and second one demonic?" Taehyung asked. "yes" Hoseok replied

"But why are we studying these scripts then? How is this related to whatever going on in this castle" Taehyung asked

"Remember you said sandalwood? That makes me suspicious" Hoseok said. "How?" Taehyung questioned. The poor omega was growing more confused

"The scent sandalwood is not common now. Well...its extinct. Scents are never same but when a certain person dies his scent is shifted to someone else who is related to his blood line. And sandalwood...it was vanished five hundred years ago and many says that, this scent carries negative energy" the beta explained.

"Wait- I didn't understand this. Like- how sandalwood carries negative energy?"

"Wait a minute I'll show you something" Hoseok said and few seconds after he gave Taehyung a paper. It was written in ancient Korean as Hoseok read what was written in the paper "the demon Alpha was once alive but because of some unfortunate even he died. It was believed that he was murdered and so was his entire family. The Alpha's scent is made to lure wolves for him to kill them and have a bath in a pool of blood. It was only possible after he died though. The Alpha wanted revenge and it was also believed that before the Alpha took his last breath he made a deal- ah! Its covered under blood..." hoseok said, his finger pads over the bloody patch.

"Its okay, reader further"

"So with whom he made a demon is a mystery for us but what was deal, was still a dark secret. Many believe that the Alpha is still alive and is a nightmare for everyone when its night.some people says that the Alpha was burned alive. He was a prince of- okay we have another patch of blood here" Hosoek stopped with a frustrating groan.

"Read further hyung. We will ask the monks and witch more about it" Taehyung says. Hoseok nods and read further " People who witnessed this incident were also burned too and the culprits ruled the kingdom aftermath.
Since then when new people migrants came in then burnt kingdom, some were killed in a very brutal way. Where they were killed wasn't know but only thing was common that, each and very corpse were burned" Finally the beta finished reading the page

Taehyung frowned and then asked "So did you mean to say that.... this demon Alpha....came in his palace to kill people?"

Hoseok looked directly in his eyes and said "No. This palace belongs to him and we are the migrants"
