Another mission

Mission for S-ranked Enforcer Felix Takeda:

An organization named Third is planning to perform a grand scale summoning ritual at dawn. Their members are mostly C to B-ranked magicians with an exception of their leader who is A-ranked. They are concentrated in the Black Forest and have a confirmed number of 40 magicians.

The magicians are known to be summoners and are able to conjure daedras and other summon creatures. Bring the leader named Ezekiel to the Enforcers for judgment. The others are not needed and you may eliminate their lives.

Taking on 40 magicians at once isn't recommended and thus, you are to assist Mary Takeda and Shion Murasaki who worked on this mission for several days.

I see... So I was supposed to assist Mother and Lady Shion, huh? I could use the Association's teleportation magic circle and head to the Black Forest. Mother should be expecting me in that location.

After going to the basement of our headquarters and standing in the middle of the magic circle, I began chanting.

"Let the distance be ignored.

Let the rules of nature be bent.

I am a magician who transcends the physical laws.

I shall travel without any restrictions!

My destination: The Brothers Grimm's forest!"

The scenery changed and trees surrounded me. I was now in Germany's Black Forest. According to legends, the famous Brothers Grimm were inspired by this forest when they wrote Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, and Sleeping Beauty.

I could sense a fast approaching creature but before I could put up my barrier, something tackled me.

It was a blonde woman with blue eyes. She wore a gray suit with a red rose embroidered on her left chest. Her name was Mary Takeda, my one and only mother.

"Fely~~~ I missed you swo mwuch!!" she rubbed her face against mine.

"M-Mother! We're on a mission! Stop!" I tried to push her away but her grip was tight.

"It's been 2 months, 3 weeks, 6 days, 11 hours, 13 minutes, and 3 seconds since I last saw you! Let mommy spend the time she needs with her little baby~!"

A silver-haired girl walked towards us. She was wearing a slightly revealing black and purple outfit and had a witch hat on her head. The silver-haired girl landed a chop on mother's head.

"Mary! We have to focus on our mission!" she scolded her.

"But Shion!!" mother protested.

"No buts! Now get off your son and start dealing with Third!"

The silver-haired girl's name was Shion Murasaki, an S-ranked magician and one of the Ten Aspects of Truth. I said that there were people who tampered with their ethereal bodies and ended up becoming inhuman, right? Lady Shion was one of those magicians. She might look like a little girl but she was older and more dangerous compared to her looks.

"Thank you, Lady Shion", I bowed after she dragged mother away.

"I'm glad the Enforcers sent someone competent. I wouldn't like it if anyone below A-ranked would work with me. You should be able to do something since you are Mary's son", Lady Shion said.

"Of course he would be great. My little baby is strong! Fely is the youngest person who became an A-ranked magician!" Mother boasted.

"Yes. I know. You said it a million times already!"
