~Four days later~
Kiara is at the grocery store getting simple things for the next two weeks. She's strolling down the cereal aisle searching for something else to eat in the morning. Cheerios can get tiring after a while. As she's doing so, her eyes landed on a familiar face.
The blonde stood in front of her scanning through a variety of cereal while simultaneously being on her phone. She looked up walking towards Kiara but not being aware of the fact. Kiara didn't want to see her. With every reason to be. Every time she thinks about calling her or seeing their missed calls and messages , she thinks about that day. Then every mourn turned into hate.
Eventually turning into hurt.
She immediately sped past her feeling tears welled to the brim.
Sarah glanced behind her, seeing who it was. Her eyes widened slightly as her heart dropped.
"Kie!" She called out, going over.
She didn't stop.
"Kie, wait."
Sarah caught up to her, placing her hand on her shoulder.
She quickly shrugged it off, turning around, "What!"
Her brows furrowed, lips pursed, and body tensed. Sarah could see her anger. She could feel the displeasure radiate off of her.
"I'm sorry." She started, "I'm so freaking sorry, Kie."
She didn't say anything but glared harshly.
"I know what I said was fucked up, wrong and a low blow. I shouldn't have used your family's problems as a way to hurt you just because I was upset that you were finally feeling great about somebody."
She stared at her, "Why?" "Why were you upset that I was doing what you always did for years?"
Sarah did nothing but talk to boys and be their friend. She never had sex with any of them but she was nice to them. She was nice to everybody and was always socializing. Kiara never cared all that much. She'd socialize but only for a short amount of time. She never had to if it was never needed. That's just the way she was. But she ended up hating it. She hated being lonely every night. She hated talking to herself or hearing her own thoughts.
She likes being alone but lonely is where her worries really lie.
Sarah didn't say anything. Yet she didn't need to. Kiara knew anyway. He's a pogue and apparently that's a problem.
"I'm so pissed at you-" she gazes down at the floor, "But...I miss you."
She looked up again, "I miss you a lot, both of you."
Kiara hates what they said, but she can't help the fact that her heart aches for them. They're really the only people who treated her like family more than her own.
Their noses were as red as Rudolph's and glossy as ice. They didn't say anything else. Instead Kiara embraced her tightly letting some tears stream down her face. Sarah didn't waste any time doing the same.
"I'm so sorry." She mumbled against her shoulder.
"It's okay, but you owe me, bitch."
They both giggled.
"Anything you want."
Sisters fight, and say unforgivable things. But no matter their differences, their love will always be inevitable.
