The day finally awaits.

The last day of school.

Kiara's sitting in front of the vanity as she's doing her hair, and makeup. She's going for a subtle look today which is nothing new since that's the norm. She's honestly ecstatic about today, and that she doesn't have to see those irritatingly conceited slut shamers  again since most of them will moving to a new location outside of the island. Only problem is that it doesn't change anything. No matter where she goes she's still considered the attention seeker slut.

Kiara tries to not let the words, and the rumors get the best of her. She knows her worth, and she knows who she is beyond what people say about her. Not many people know about these rumors or false allegations, due to the fact that most of them aren't from jealous girls that live in obx. It's mostly tourists, but don't be mistaken, there are people from school that say things behind her back.  She hasn't told her friends about these, because she doesn't want to put her problems on them, and besides it isn't a big deal to have a fuss about.

She's used to it.

Once she's finished with her final touches she sprays on her favorite coconut scented body mist that Sarah got her for her birthday last year. Kiara grabs her phone, backpack, and keys. She turns off the light heading out the door, and down the stairs.

"Bye mom, Bye dad!"  She called going towards the front door.

"You're not having breakfast?" Mike asked leaning back in his chair looking at her.

"I already told you that me, and Sarah are, but I'll be home before dinner, love you." With that the brunette headed out before her parents can question her any more.

"Should we be worried?" Mike asked turning to Anna who's by the coffee machine.

She chuckles taking a mug out, "Relax she's almost an adult for crying out loud I think she can handle herself pretty well." She pouring the hot liquid into the mug.

He agreed silently, looking back at his news paper, "Yeah, your probably right."

JJ's snoring loudly laying on his stomach with the blanket covering half of his body. He's holding his pillow as he's drooling slightly.

Mary knocks gently opening the his door peeking through. A warm smile spreads across her face at the sight. He was always a deep sleeper. She walks inside slowly going over to his window, and immediately pulls back the curtains letting the bright light makes its way inside.

"Wake up sleepy head." She said sounding sounding chipper.

"Mom" Groaned the blonde, putting a pillow on his head.

"Stop being so dramatic no one told you to drink last night, knowing you'll have a hangover." She said, going over to his dresser.

He pulls the pillow down slightly, "Who told you I drank beer?" He asked furrowing his brows slightly.

She looks back at him, "You just did." She said, grabbing a pare of boxers.

He sighs realizing that he failed her test , and pulls the pillow back up.

She closes the drawer, and opening another grabbing a clean blue shirt, "What did I tell  you about drinking?" She reminded giving him a knowing look as she grabs him some shorts.
