I guess I'd fallen asleep while waiting for the boys to get to the cabin because the next thing I know, I'm being woken up by Sarah, laying down on the couch. I sat up slowly and looked around the room. Sarah was seated by my waist and had her hand on my shoulder, and Hunter was standing behind her. She took a deep breath and smiled at me.

"Good morning sleeping beauty," Hunter said lightly.

"Hey," I answered groggily.

"So umm, the boys are back and I think Logan wants to talk to you alone," Sarah explained. So were going to go and clean up at the party and we'll see you guys later, ok?"

"Sounds good." She got up to leve the room and I grabbed her arm to hold her back. She turned and looked at me. "Thank you."

"Oh Noah, I'm always here," she answered hugging me tightly.

Hunter cleared his throat from behind us. "So were leaving," he said, instructing Sarah to let me go so they could leave and let Logan come and talk to me.

They left the room and I sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to come into the room. When Logan didn't show up after that long I laid back down and let my eyes close again. Although I could still hear everything that was going on around me, it felt like I was sleeping and actually gave me quite the relief from everything that had happened today. I mean, it takes a lot of energy to process the fact that my boyfriends mom was talking to an overgrown wolf like it was the most natural thing in the world. What's more, I watched Logan turn into a wolf right before me and start attacking another one. Trust me, it's a lot to take in for one day. Then again, the wolf that emerged from Logan had to be the most beautiful wolf I'd ever seen, whether or not it was 100x bigger than a wolf should be. His fur was all black and the only recognizable feature on his wolf form that stayed from his human form was his piercing blue eyes that I'd gotten so used to in the last couple days.

About 20 minutes after Sarah and Hunter had left the room, I heard the door click open. I shot up from where I was laying down and saw Logan standing in the door. He had no shirt on and had changed into a pair of brown cargo shorts. He looked to where I was sitting up on the couch and a look of relief covered his eyes. I got up off the couch and ran the 5 steps to where he was. I threw my hands around his neck and pulled him tight to me. He dropped his head into the nape of my neck and wrapped his arms protectively around my waist. We just stood there for about 5 minutes in each others arms. He started rubbing my back smoothly and I almost started crying again.

"I'm so happy you're ok," I whispered shakily.

"Not as happy as I am that you're ok princess," he said back. "I'm so sorry."

I pulled away from him and he looked into my eyes sadly. "Can we talk about this?"

"Umm, yeah." I walked us over to the couch and sat down with him in front of me. "So how much do you know?"

"Well up until the point where Amesly was pissed about Sarah and I being here."

"Right, so our existence pretty much runs on humans not finding out. We have to live like this in the shadows. So if a human ever found out, we would be taken to the top dog, the highest authority of werewolves. After that the pack that invited humans into their home and showed them everything that goes on gets exiled and the humans initially have to be killed to ensure the safety of the werewolf secret. Unless of course there is a legit reason that said humans know the secret."

I gluped. "Please for the sake of all that's holy tell me that Sarah and I are going to survive."

"Of course princess, I would never do anything that would put you in harms way."
