Chapter 34: Claimed

"What the hell are you on about?" I asked loudly. "You're not even a werewolf."

"Just what it sounds like. I'm your mate, and he's just using you," Sean said with a smirk.

"It can't be, you're lying!"

"Oh but I'm not-"

"Do you want to settle this right now?" Logan suddenly asked.

"If you wish to do so in front of the delicate lady then yes."

"Settle what?" I asked him worriedly.

"He's the alpha of his pack and apparently he's come here today to stake his claim on you."

"Claim me? I'm not some sort of prize."

"I mean you're his mate, and he's here to take you from me."

My jaw dropped. There's no way! "He can't be, I'm your mate, your alpha female."

"But you see, that's where I come in. I'm here, to challenge your little boy toy, for my right to have you. If he wins, he keeps you. If I win though, you come with me," Sean piped in.

"And when did you find all of this out? Was this before or after you decided to deliberately break my arm?"

"First of all, it wasn't on purpose. You know I would never do something like that to you. Secondly, this was brought to my attention when the alluring aroma of my mate led me here, right to this spot that I'm standing on."

"This is crap! I refuse to be claimed! Do I not have a say in any of this?"

"Unfortunately not, babe," Logan whispered to me. I looked up into his eyes and saw a mixture of emotions; sadness, anger, regret.

"So you're actually going to do this, right now?"

"I don't have a choice, if I plan on being with you, I have to."

"Logan, please don't. I don't know what I'll do if you get hurt because of me."

I felt tears fall down my cheeks and Logan brought his hand up to my cheeks to wipe them away. "I promise, when it's you, I'll do anything to keep you here by my side."

"Don't do this. I'll do anything, just please, don't leave me."

He tilted my him up to face him. "Never."

He pressed his lips against mine and I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me. He gripped my hips as tugged my lower half against his. He slipped his tounge slowly into my mouth and I didn't even fight for dominance. I just let him take complete control. He pulled away from me, leaving me breathless and we started walking out of the forest back towards the backyard of the pack house. As soon as we hit the open field, Sophia came running up to me. I picked her up and held her in my arms. Logan smiled down at her and pinched her cheeks lightly, causing her to giggle. I smiled at his as he made weird faces to make her laugh. He caught sight of me looking at him and leaned down to my ear.

"When this is all done and over with, were making babies, just like her," he whispered.

"I agree 100%" I said with a smile.

He looked at me with raised eyebrows and I gave him a reassuring smile. He grinned and started kissing along my neck. I tilted my head back to give him better access and he groaned.

"You don't even know what that means to me, baby."

"Hey! Can we get this show on the road? I've got guests at home waiting for Noah's grand entrance," Sean said from behind us.
