By 6pm, we were all dressed and had out hair and makeup done. Sarah's dress was pink, of course, and had sparkles starting from where they covered the top and slowly faded as they moved down the dress. She straightened her hair and left her bangs down and used pink eyeshadow and black eyeliner. Mackenzie had a white dress that stopped about mid thigh and had a blue and aqua-green floral pattern all over it. Her makeup was done so that she had green eyeshadow on her eyelids and blue eye liner on both the top and bottom of her eyes. Courtney's dress was a long black silk dress that had a metallic silver belt and a jewelled neckline. The left side of the dress was open up to her hip so whenever she took a step her leg was exposed. Her makeup consisted of merely black eyeliner and a but of shimmering eyeshadow. I pulled my hair into a bun with a few curls hanging out and straightened my bangs. I had on black eyeliner under my eyes and green eyeshadow on my lashline. Just below my brows, I put on clear sparkly coat and blended the green into it, causing the colour to gradually fade.
We were all taking pre-prom pictures when there was a knock at the door. I walked over and opened it to reveal Dustin and a couple of his college buddies, Patrick, Sam and Tate. They all complimented us on how we looked and I told the girls to get a couple pictures of me and my brother together. When we were done my mom walked in and wanted pictures with both of us. Finally we were ready to go downstairs where mom said the boys were already waiting. We each took hold of one of the boys arms; Courtney with Patrick, Sarah with Tate, Mackenzie with Sam, and me with Dustin. They escorted us down the stairs where mom waited to snap more pictures of our descents. It also gave the waiting boys time to get up to greet us. Jaxon walked up to Courtney, Max went with Mackenzie, Hunter stole Sarah away and Logan met Dustin and I at the bottom of the stairs. He was wearing a black suit with a green tie that matched the colour of my dress and a small white flower on his jacket. It made him look extremely sexy, yet professional as well.
Dustin looked hard at him as he held my hand tightly. Finally his gaze softened and he took Logan's hand as well, bringing them together. "Take care of her," he said seriously.
"I will, I promise," Logan answered looking into my eyes.
Dustin kissed my cheek lightly and I hugged him. "Relax big bro," I giggled. "It's not like you're giving me away."
"Yet," he answered. I rolled my eyes and pulled away. "Mom wants pictures of you guys together. So get close, I guess."
I laughed but walked over to Logan and slipped one hand in his and placed the other on his chest. Logan intertwined our fingers together and slipped his arm around my waist. Dustin counted to 3 and the flash went off. I giggled as Dustin gave the camera back to mom and she squealed. I then turned to face Logan. My hand was still laced with his so he brought it above my head and spun me around so he could see all of my dress. I rolled my eyes but followed the movement of his hand. When I was facing him again, he wore a smirk on his face.
"Nice, very nice," he commented.
"Thank you," I said.
"I especially like the whole low cut back. Shows off that sexy tattoo of yours."
"I thought you would. So tell me, Mr. Hotstuff, how did you know to wear green?"
"Courtney texted me earlier. We were in Hugo when she did so it was just right there."
"Interesting. So I hope you understand this is all coming off during the after party." I wrapped my fingers around the top part of his tie and tugged him closer to me.
He unraveled my fingers and looked down at me. "I worked hard on this, don't touch the tie."
"Oh shut up and kiss me."
