I stood in front of my mirror looking over the clothes I was wearing, thinking that maybe it was too much. Logan was taking me out for lunch after the practice graduation ceremony this morning and he said to look good. So I was now wearing a pair of black tights and a white blouse. I was wearing black eyeliner and a natural tone eyeshadow. I also had on the necklace that he'd bought me for our prom a couple weeks ago and of course my engagement ring and I couldn't stop spinning it on my finger. Apparently everyone knew that it was going to happen, so when we got home all the women wanted to see the ring that he'd chosen. Emma was telling me that when she went with him the fourth time, he was scared that I was going to say no and she had to physically hit him upside the head for thinking that. And now here I am with this amazing fiancé proven by the gorgeous ring around my finger.
As I smoothed down my blouse again and pulled my hair back into a ponytail, there was a knock on my bedroom door. "Occupied!" I shouted.
"Don't care!" Logan chuckled. "Unlock your door Noah!"
"What if I don't want to let you in?"
"You know you do so don't even pull that."
I giggled and opened the door. He walked in and pulled me around to face him, pushing me backwards on the door. He smirked as he pressed his lips to mine and I sighed contently. I would never get over how his lips felt against mine and will never have to. He moved his lips on mine and I kissed him back with everything I had. I was still pretty tired since I couldn't get any sleep last night. So I could honestly say the kiss was exhausting, but definitely worth every second. I guess Logan noticed my slight weakness because he pulled away and looked at me with worry I his eyes.
"Are you ok?" he asked.
"Yeah, just a little tired," I answered. "I didn't get a good sleep last night."
"Do you want to leave lunch for tomorrow?"
"No, I wanna go out with you." I wrapped my arms tighter around his neck and pouted.
He chuckled at my childishness. "Babe, were engaged. We have our entire lives to go out."
"But I wanna go out today. By the way where are we going?"
"I'm not going to tell you."
I took my arms from around his neck and pouted again. I heard the phone ringing downstairs and headed out the door to grab it. Logan laughed again and followed me. He grabbing my hand and pulled me back into his chest so he could pick me up and carry me bridal style down the rest of the stairs.
"Why do you want to know so badly? Are you on your period? Do you want me to make sure there's something with chocolate on the dessert menu?" he rushed out.
"No, but I've been craving tacos, can we go to a Mexican place?" I asked.
He kissed my forehead. "Of course we can."
I smiled hugely. "You're the best fiancé ever!" I shouted.
"Well you're in a good mood today having not gotten to sleep last night."
"Yeah, well I just found out that I'm getting tacos for lunch. Plus I'm engaged to you so today is just getting better and better."
"I love you," he chuckled.
I giggled again and pulled myself up to hug him, causing him to almost drop me. But we laughed it off and he put me down on the kitchen counter as he went to grab the phone. I heard him answer and chuckled at how serious he sounded when he came in and said it was for me.
"You're talking to Noah Carson, who is this?" I said jokingly, causing the smile to reappear on Logan's face.
"Hi honey," he said.
