Sarah and I walked into the cafeteria from the bathroom at lunch and saw that everyone was already sitting together. I plopped down beside Logan and sighed deeply, resting my head on his shoulder.
"What's the matter princess?" he asked wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
"I swear on my grandmothers grave that if one more person comes up to me and asks if we're actually dating, I'm going to shoot myself in the head," I mumbled.
Obviously everyone at the table heard because they all laughed and the only person that didn't was Sarah, who was probably feeling the same way. Ever since Logan and I went public a month ago, I haven't had one peaceful day where people could just leave me alone. They all want to know if he was courting me or not, or if I'd actually tied down the bad boy. I seriously just wanted to go up to the office and scream it over the PA system that we were in fact dating. What's worse, Hunter did end up choosing Jaxon to be Sarah's protector and he was now in all of our classes along with Cameron who was mine. If I wasnt going to hit someone for asking that damn question, I was going to hit Jaxon for just being Jaxon.
"Awwe what's the matter, can't handle a little pressure?" Jaxon cooed from across the table.
"Shut up, I'm not in the mood to deal with you right now," I whined.
"Princess," Logan said trying to calm me down.
"Make him stop baby he's pissing me off."
"Bros before hoes dude, you can't go back on that."
He was silent for a minute and I looked up at him expectanty. Since he just shoved another piece of lasagne into his mouth, I assumed he wasn't going to say anything in the matter and pushed myself away from him. He looked at me confused and I stood up and stormed out of the room, not bothering to look back. I headed to my locker and grabbed out my gym clothes. I went straight to the girls change room and got changed completely. Since it was a week 2, my classes were flipped around, so instead of having gym last, I had it third. In turn, I just decided to bring all my stuff outside since I got my cast off yesterday and was able to participate today. I plugged in my earphones and started running around the track. It's what I do when I need to release stress or just get away from people. After about my 12th lap, I felt someone grab my arm to hault me. For some reason I expected to see Logan there but instead caught sight of Cameron.
"Can I help you?" I panted pulling out my earphones.
"Yeah actually," he answered. "I was sent out here by your boyfriend to make sure you're ok and to apologize on his behalf."
"Oh yeah? Why didn't he come out here himself? Or is he still on the notion of bros before hoes?"
"Noah, he didnt mean it like that, they were just fooling around. And he was going to come out here, but Sarah and I talked him out if it since we all know that you need a bit of space at a time like this."
"Thank you. I just needed to clear my head. With everything going on and all the crap people are saying... I'm just not ready for it."
"I know sweet pea. And Jaxon sees now that he shouldn't have made a joke like that. Actually Sarah definitely gave him an earful about it," he said with a chuckle.
"What did she say?" I asked feeling my mood brighten.
He cleared his throat like he was preparing for a performance. "Until you have the weight of responsibility on your back you can't even begin to imagine what it's like," he said attempting to mimic Sarah's higher pitched voice, causing me to fall to the ground laughing. "She then turned to Logan and went off saying that he should know what it's like being top authority in the matter and then just left."
