Criss- Crossed Love Affair (BokuAka)

"So.. what's your big announcement, Noya?" I asked as we awkwardly sit at their house.

"Well... Sugawara-san... Go on!" Noya smiled bigger.

Asahi laughed a little, Daichi is looking everywhere except me.. Bokuto-san is sitting next to me, unusually quiet and in deep thought as he is inattentive at the moment..

"What is really going on here?" I curiously asked. "I thought, Noya, you have an announcement, then why are you asking Sugawara-san to do it?"

"Well, Akaashi... I just got carried away so it slips out of my mouth.." Noya proudly explained.

I face palmed myself inside my head. This kid is unbelievable. I looked at Sugawara-san who is completely bright red now.

"Can someone tell me what's really is going on?" I looked around the room....

They all seemed uncomfortable..

"Are you all alright?" I asked again

What is going on here? I looked at Bokuto-san who seems to be completely lost in reality and in his thoughts.

"Can you just be straight forward with this announcement?"

Sugawara looked at me intently. Sweats are running down his face.

"Come on, you all are making me nervous!" I shouted and all their attentions turned to me.

"We rushed down here to hear it, then you'll just shut my questions down!?" I bursted

Should I say they ruined our perfect moment? That would be rude, isn't it?
But they really are-

"Akaashi..." Sugawara-san softly speak

I stare at him for a moment... He raised his right hand exposing his fingers.

I tilted my head in confusion. Hah?

He slightly laugh as I noticed the silver ring in his ring finger....

WAIT!!!!! WAIT!!!! WAIT!!!?

I looked at Noya who has been biting his lower lip, trying to composed himself from excitement.

Daichi is blushing madly as he held Sugawara-san's left hand... Suga looked at him with sparkling eyes.

"Akaashi... We are getting married..." and he beamed tenderly

O////////o "Ain't.. ain't that too-" I was about to asked.

"We know, it's so sudden... But, Koushi has always been so special and dear to me, and I am certain that he is the one because he is the love of my life..." they both blushed.

Noya is pulling Asahi's sleeves in total astonishment.

Who wouldn't get excited by this? I mean it is thrilling and exhilarating, definitely why Noya wanted to tell it himself.

"YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED TO THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE?!?!" Bokuto-san just exploded as he yelled this on Daichi's face.

Daichi was bewildered... Not knowing what to say.... and what to do... as a total stranger howled in front of him.

I held Bokuto-san's left arm...trying to make him sit once again.... I thought he wasn't listening at all but here he is like a little kid asking an adult for some candy...

They are just the same age him, Asahi, Daichi-san, and Sugawara-san... but you can see the maturity level difference.. I laugh it out a little.. My little sweet Bokuto...

"Ahmm. Right... Let me introduce, Asahi, Sugawara-san, Daichi-san this is Bokuto-san... He is my-"

"Tutee" Bokuto-san but in.

I looked at him surprised... I was about to tell them that we are...

What are we anyway? I looked down at the floor and
"Right, my tutee...." I said as I clenched my fist in disappointment.

Bokuto's POV
"Right, my tutee...."

Akaashi keeps looking on the floor as everyone started to walk awkwardly to the kitchen to prepare for dinner.

I looked at him and started to poke his shoulder

"Hey, Akaashi... Are you-"

And I noticed the small pieces of tears from his eyes as he continued to looked down on the tiled floor.

I froze... He is crying..

"Hey" I cupped his cheeks. "What's wrong, Kaashi?" I whispered as I level my head with his.

He closed his eyes to avoid any connection between us.

"Hey, Akaashi... Tell me .. what's going-"

"Bokuto-san.. you should be... the one... who tell me.. what's going on... Why didn't you let me tell them...-"

"I am sorry, Akaashi..." I replied quickly..

"I guess... we just shared a kiss, an embrace, and a moment, but doesn't established the label, isn't that right?" he questioned without looking at me.

How should I tell him, that I wanted to make an effort first like what Kenm- No.. No... No... He said he loves me more than anyone else ... And shouldn't compare myself to Kenma... But.... I couldn't help it!

My body tensed up as he stared back at me
"What are we anyway?!"

"We are...."

"AKAASHI! BOKUTO-SAN, FOOD IS REA-" Noya entered the living room so I quickly retreated my hands from Akaashi's face which he responded with upset look on his face.

Akaashi bowed down again as he stood facing his back to Nishinoya..
"I'll just go outside... for some fresh air" Akaashi whispered and went outside.

I just sat there looking at his back.

"Don't tell me, you'll just stay here?" Noya beamed at me.

"Hey, where's Akaashi?" asked Sugawara as he peeked from the kitchen door. "Did something happen? Noya?"

Noya just stared at me as I stared at him.

I looked away. Sugawara sits beside me as he gently tap my shoulder.

"Tell me, Bokuto... what happened?" he is so calm...

"I..." Should I really tell them? I mean I have plan... well I don't have yet but I will soon have the perfect proposal like Kenma.... What. The. Hell. Why do I always compete with him!?!

"We know something is up... I can sense something different from both of you, right Noya?" Sugawara commented

"Akaashi is livelier today... He is louder..."

"Hah? Noya, seriously?!" Sugawara slightly chuckled.

"Talk it out, okay? You'll understand each other better if you would communicate..." Sugawara suggested

"What's taking you guys so long?" Daichi and Asahi just went out of the kitchen.

Noya run quickly to cling to Asahi's right arm.. Sugawara stood and wink at me.
"Tell him, we are about to eat now.. Don't make us wait"

I smiled a little, whispered thank you to Sugawara and sighed as I walked to the door to talk to Akaashi.

Why do I have to bring him sorrow just because I kept on thinking to surpass Kenma?

I am so stupid when it comes to this kinds of things!!!!!
