"Sister Hora.... wait!!!" I gasped as I run towards her direction.

"Yes, Bokuto-kun? Do you need anything?"

"Ahmmm... Where's Akaashi?" I asked

"Ohh.. he went home already. He said that something came up so... he have to go home early." She explained..

"Oh. Thank you, Sister Hora..." I sighed. "Wait... anyways, why is he here today?"

"Keiji, grew up here. He usually visit us when he isn't busy." she smiled at me.

Grew up here? Does it mean...
"So.. Akaashi is..."

"Yes, he is. But he had become a strong person even he grew up on his own. He learned to be independent and responsible, too." she said as she sat down on a nearby bench.

"Keiji grew up to be so smart and reliable.... but he's always shy and scared."

"He's amazing..."

"He is... When he mentioned about working at the age of 10 we got worried a lot..."

Wait... working?

"But... he managed himself well.. He started with simple library work, tutoring, cashier at a convenience store and so many more... At the age of 15 he proposed to leave the orphanage and rent his own apartment..."

"Wow..."

"Yes. That's what we all said... He's living on his own for almost two years now..." she wiped some tears from her eyes

"I really hoped, I could have been a better adult for him. He shouldn't have suffered that as a child..."

I just stared at the other children playing.

"But, you know, Bokuto-kun... All he said to me before he left is he's very grateful that he grew up here with us... and we became his family.... I cried a lot after that..."

"I think he's doing fine, Sister Hora... He's a good person, and a very special one." I said thoughtfully.

"Thank you. I just hope that he met good friends to shower him with love and acceptance."

"Well, he did.. He got his *wait should I tell her... ahmmm...* best friend, Kenma, and another friend, Nishinoya... and me, I guess.."

"That's pretty nice to know, Bokuto-kun... Please, take good care of Keiji, okay?"

My face went warm..
"Are you alright, Bokuto-kun?" Sister Hora asked as she looked at me.
"You're turning red..."

"I... It's... It's the heat.. and I am just weary because the kids and I played a lot...."

"Ohh.. Yeah  I guess... You better take some rest, Bokuto-kun. Thank you for all these to make the kids happy" she bowed her head.

"No.. I should be the one to be thankful...Because I found a place where I am accepted for who I am..."

She stared at me in disbelief.

"I.. I mean.." I  lowered my head and looked on the ground... "I am happy seeing the kids happy, Sister..."

She tapped my shoulder
"You are doing great... Just continue to be yourself and choose to make yourself and other people around you happy. Acceptance will follow."

I smiled.. But deep down... I am deeply devastated ... I can't even make my own father happy....

Akaashi grew up from a broken family... and I grew up broken by my own family...
