I am used not to talk with him unless asked when we are having meals together. This is a matter of manners and conduct, as he usually say.

Kaashi might have noticed because he seems uncomfortable.

"Kaashi, it's okay..." I whispered to him as I leaned a little closer to him.

He looked at me and nodded. We continued eating and as soon as we finished, the tea were served.

"Thank you..." we all said to the maids.

I really wanted to stood from the table so we don't have to bear with my father's business minded ideas...

"What are your plans, Keiji, for the future?" he asked

Here it goes....

He is intimidating and persistent, I know for a fact that he's plotting something.

"Mm.." Akaashi seems really uncomfortable now.
"I am planning to study college, Sir and..."

"Why don't you work for me after graduating high school?" he asked but sounded more like a command.

"I.. I am sorry, Sir? I mean..."

"Yes. Is it a little sudden? I am proposing the idea of hiring you the soonest for my company... What do you say?" he persisted.

I am clenching my fist right now.... But the terror of disrespecting him scares me more than anything else.
I lowered my head and grit my teeth... I can"t even protect Kaashi from him...

Akaashi's POV
Something is off with Bokuto-san... he lowered his head and like trembling.
I am hoping he'll say something at least... but I can't blame him... His father seems to be so strict and very intimidating... .

I faced his father..

"Sir, let me think about it. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch...."

Bokuto-san looked up at me confused.

"Hah? Chickens? Where?" he said tilting his head a little.

I chuckled. I love this side of him. His father seems to just watch us emotionless.

"We reviewed that, Bokuto-san"

"Ohh... i thought... right... One shouldn't... makes plan .. mmm. based only on assumptions... Ain't that right?" he replied

"Yes.... (I faced his father this time). Sir, I want to pursue studying and not deprive myself of the opportunities coming ahead of me...." I replied hoping he'll stop with his far future plans.

"Keiji, I am offering you an opportunity as well.. It's just early, but I know you'll be of great asset to the Golden Owl." he answered monotonously.

It's really like he wanted only a yes every time. I could feel sweats forming in my forehead...

"I know Sir. And I am truly grateful for that... But.. I want to...(think, Akaashi, think) study college and develop my skills before entering workplace world." I replied confidently

"Well, I guess, I'll have to ask you again some time ... I'll definitely convince you next time, Keiji... So always find time to have meals with me, okay? he smiled.

A scary one.. This is one reason maybe Bokuto-san is afraid of disappointing this person. I felt horror from him. I felt scared as well for myself and for Bokuto-san who have to deal with his father every time.

"Keiji, you could stay the night since it's getting a bit late.." he said as he stood from the table and waved goodbye. "Good night, you two."

Bokuto-san exhaled sharply. I let out the air I didn't know I was holding.

"Kaashi..."

"Yes, Bokuto-san?"

"I'm sorry about that..." he said looking at the table as the maids collect the plates.

"It's.. It's okay..."
Is it really okay? I was shaken.. really shaken....

"Sir Kōtarō, some people are looking for you" Kosukie said he bowed his head.

"Hah? It's almost 10pm.. Who could have-" Bokuto-san was completely shut down as Kuroo-san entered the room

"BRO!!!!!!!!"

"Kuroo, what are you doing here? I thought you have a date?!?"

"Well, hush your horses, Buddy. We came here for a sleep over."
And some blond tall guy appeared from his back, wait, isn't that?

"Wait, a sleep over in my house?!?! You should have informed me ahead of time, Bro... You see, Kaashi is staying, too.." Bokuto-san agitatedly responded

"Well, seems like you are choosing him over me" Kuroo smirked "Usually, you'll just say okay, Bro or sure, Kubroo... but now ...."

"It's okay if you would stay, though, Bro... but I'll ask Dad"

"Cool.. No worries, I texted Uncle he said Yes! We'll be staying in your room, then." Kuroo-san announced

Bokuto-san's jaw dropped. Kuroo-san texted his father and said yes. Kuroo-san's level of confidence is something unusual.

"We'll go on ahead there, Bro... Come on, Tsukki.." Kuroo-san then leave the dining room.

We stayed so still.
"Well, so I guess... Kaashi, we have to deal with Kuroo tonight..."

"I think, it's better not to offer drinks, alcoholic drinks I mean, to them..." I suggested.

"Yes, Kaashi... *Dammit*" he said and whispered the last word. "Kuroo is one hell of a problem, Kaashi, you know that..."

*Beep*
Bokuto-san grabbed his phone and his eyes widen so much.

"What's the matter?"

"The twins and Suna are coming over..."

"Ahe. he.he. he. Do they have some radar on each other's location?" I jokingly asked. "Or did they planned this?"

"They are hell of a problem really" Bokuto-san said as he massaged his temple.

It's gonna be a very long night.
