Criss- Crossed Love Affair (BokuAka)

I Passed! I Fell!

"You didn't fail, okay? It surprises me  too.... So here's your test paper..."

I reached for the results of my supplementary class' test... And yeah, I did pass!!!!! Oh my... This is so good...

"Hey! Hey! Hey!!! Yeah!" I shouted loudly

"Good grief! Will you please low it down, Bokuto-kun? You're disturbing the faculty office and the other classes." Ms. Hiruka, my adviser, said irritatedly.

I nodded awkwardly and turned towards the stairs to go back to my classes.

~I'm Kōtarō Bokuto. 17, 2nd year. I failed a lot of subjects (well, this is something I shouldn't be proud of, but that's the only thing unique about me 😉 except for having a rich family status).~

I excitedly hop over the steps of the stairs and as reach the landing- with only few steps to the second floor, I sprinted out in total excitement... Can't wait to show this to Kuroo, my best friend... He's gonna be in total shock for sure!!!

"Hey, hey, hey!" closed my eyes for a moment imagining Kuroo's reaction...

And didn't notice that there's this one guy just few steps in front of me. He's busy arranging some papers in his hands... I can't stop! How can I stop, I am almost in mid air! Oh no!!

"Hey! Look out!" I yelled trying to warn him... but it's too late!

I collided with him.. The papers flew and scatter everywhere like flower petals during a wedding ceremony- it flew over us!!! I watch them slowly flew into the air and fell due to the pull of the gravity... (with the chorus of the music above 🎶)

Everything happened in slow and fast motion at the same time... I don't really know how to explain that.. That's just how it feels, okay?

I tried to pull him up, grabbing his left arm, putting my hands in his back and then over his head... trying to at least protect him from the impact of the fall...

We rolled down on the stairs and stopped as my head hit the wall.

I tried to keep him safe, and now he is on top of me. I could feel him trembling....

I felt a sudden throbbing pain in the side of my head .... using my right hand I touched my head trying to assess it and realized that I am staring at some blood in my hand from my bleeding head.

"Are you... Oh.. no..." he turned pale as he saw me...

Am I in a really bad state? Did I turned uglier or something?

I couldn't process what's really happening...

He looked directly into my eyes worried... Confusingly, I felt something inside of me, and I tried to smile even I am in total pain. His eyes are beautiful, his face is pretty.
"Pretty..."

He widen his eyes. How cute... Am I hallucinating? Is the fall that bad that I couldn't control even myself. I even complimented a total stranger of the same gender...

His hands are in my chest and my left hand is in his back so I did manage to protect him... I try to analyze if he's hurt or not... but in our position and my condition right now, I couldn't really tell. I felt a jolt of pain, I couldn't bear it... It's a pounding discomfort!

I hate getting hurt, so I am terribly bad at dealing with pain.

Then everything turns blurry...
"Help!!! Please help us.. Ple-"

I heard him asking for help.. His voice is so precious... It's like music to my ears...

I slowly lost control of my body, my strength is off and my arms behind his back fell into the floor.

Then everything turns black.
