It has already been a week. Nobody asked why Bokuto-san and I always hang out together.
Everyone's been aware that I tutor him and we are close friends now.
Since the day he said that I just need to trust him, I never asked question about it to avoid another argument between us.
It is quite difficult though.. I really wanted to show him my affection but... he said to keep it private.
"Kaashi... Anyways... Dad asked if you could come to dinner tonight" he said during our tutorial session
I nodded as I checked his accomplished review material in Literature.
"Here..." I smiled at him as I kept my pen inside my bag. This is his last activity for today.
He grab the paper and slowly flip it to see his score...
"Hey, Hey, Hey!!!! I am so good, Kaashi! Thanks!" he loudly screamed.
I scolded him for doing so and causing disturbance inside the library... I bowed my head as others in there giggled and laughed..
I quickly arranged our stuff... and went out of the library in a rush... (in embarrassment actually).
"See you tomorrow, Bokuto-san..."
"What do you mean, Kaashi?"
"Hah?"
"I told you earlier, Dad is inviting you for dinner tonight... you nodded as response, Kaashi.. Don't you recall?"
"Wait, I did? I'm sorry, I was so preoccupied."
"So..are you free tonight?"
Why would his father invite me?
"Kaashi, I think he wanted to thank you for helping me with my exams..." he said as maybe realized my confused look.
"Okay, Bokuto-san..."
"HEY, BRO!!!!" We both looked at Kuroo who is running towards us.
"Hey, Kubroo.. What's up?" Bokuto-san asked
"Well, I am grabbing dinner with my sweet sweet Tsukki and I am thinking of dragging you lovebirds along..."
Do Kuroo-san knows about us or is he just teasing me?
"Not gonna work right now, we are going to dinner with Dad..." Bokuto-san answered
"Well, that's new..."
"I know right?! He invited Kaashi to thank him for tutoring me."
"Ah that's cool... Well, then.. I'll go on ahead.. See you later, Bro" and Kuroo runs off away.

"So, Keiji... I would like to thank you for helping Kōtarō." Mr. Bokuto said as he sliced the steak in front of him.
"It's no big deal Sir.. The lessons are useful and serve as my review materials as well..."
"You really are something else. But I am truly grateful, that you have to give up your other tutees just to accommodate my request, Keiji.."
"I want to focus on him, Sir... because higher level lessons are quite of a challenge so I need to give my full attention to it." I replied as I sip some orange juice.
We are currently sitting in their dining room. The atmosphere is more like of a restaurant and very relaxing. Bokuto-san isn't talking much which is odd.
"So, Kō, how's your current performance in class right now?"
Bokuto-san looked at his father with worried eyes.
"I am doing fine, Dad." and continued eating without looking away from his plate.
It feels like there is a wall between the two of them... A wall separating them emotionally.
"That's great."
Then silence. We continued eating without exchanging any words right now....
What's with them? I mean, I never heard Bokuto-san tells anything about his father......
I don't know what to say to break the silence so I awkwardly eat my food...
