Criss- Crossed Love Affair (BokuAka)

I Love You.

I faced him, held his cheeks with both of my hands, gently caressed his face, and slowly kissed him....

Time seems to work fast and slow at the same time. I closed my eyes, trying to feel the warmth of Akaashi's lips.

The cold wind seems to vanish and all I could feel is the sensation between us.. I've been imagining this moment- this perfect moment where I can truly express what I really wanted to say....

I slowly break the kiss and opened my eyes to see Akaashi blushing, and eyes in total tears..

I wiped his tears with my fingers..
"I.. I am sorry, Akaashi.. I.. It's the spur of the moment... I didn't mean to make you cry like this... It's... It's just.... I couldn't help it anymore...."

He looked at me with those eyes, and I can't hold my ground... He speak nothing and just stare at me...

"Akaashi... I really wanted to... I've been keeping this since the day I first saw you.... Akaashi..."

I stopped for I can't really tell if his expression is telling me to stop or go on...

I gulped... I have taken the first move so... I have to take this chance to tell him.... Even if he says no.... I'll.. I'll.. accept that...

Am I ready to accept it though? I started to quiver. I was about to put my hands down from his cheeks when he held them, and squeeze them a little.

He isn't looking away..
Does it mean... he wants to know what I was about to say?

"Akaashi... I think.. No.. I am certain Akaashi, I lo-..."

"I love you, Bokuto-san"

I couldn't believe what he just said..

"Can.. can.. you... repeat that? I don't think I heard it correctly, Akaashi..." I said as I pull him closer.

"I said.... I love you, Bokuto-san.... Even if.. if you don't feel the same way I-"

"What do you mean I don't feel the same way? I love you Akaashi!!!! I love you!!!!"

We shed tears at the same time... He let go of my hands and at the time, I pulled him even closer and hugged him tightly... He hugged me back... He buried his face into my chest and I could feel his beating heart... His heart beating for me....

He loves me.... He really loves me! I couldn't believe it... This beautiful guy loves me!

We stayed like that for some moments... enjoying the embrace and the warmth. I do not want to let go but he lifted his head and looked at me...

"Bokuto-san... Thank you... Thank you so much...." he said as he wiped his tears away.

"For.... for what, Kaashi?"

"For loving me.... for accepting me..."

"Of course... I've been waiting for you... all this time... and now that you are here, I.. I'll prove to you that I deserve you, Akaashi."

He smiled brightly... I smiled back.

"I love you with all that I have, Keiji."

"I love you, Kōtarō..."

This is the happiest day of my life... Being with him... holding him and loving him...
