Verse 1: I was new. Just met you. Left my past behind. When I met you you looked like my new best friend. You helped me around. I met all of your friends and I was so glad. I thought you would be my friend forever. We'd eat lunch, but you'd never talk to me. After some observation I found out who you are. I tell you that I'm scarred, but you just tell me that I broke his heart.

Chorus: When I first saw him I knew this wouldn't work. I didn't know what to do. I was drawn close to you. Friendship is a hard thing to end unless your my friend. I'm easy to use and leave behind. I try to catch up, but all I find is the memories. I knew if I led him on and pretended I liked him you'd eventually do the same to me. Did you want me to lead him up for a fall? Is that what you wanted? Did you want me to hurt him even more? Did you mean to hurt me because I hurt him? Did you want me to love him forever? Are you my master? Do I love whoever you say? You blame me for who I love. Honey, it's not me.

Verse 2: When I need you you turned your back. When I was weak that's when you would attack. I needed help because I was scared. I was hoping you'd be there. I told you I like a new guy and your response almost made me cry. You tell me something I should've known. You say that I let a good guy go. I just don't know what to say, but being quiet feels like I lost a war. If I fight back I will lose, but if I don't I lose. There are no winners from this point. Just people that aren't as broken. Just remember that I am scarred and I will remember that I broke his heart.

Verse 3: I don't know what you're doing to me. You got a hold of my family. They believe I should have too. You stick right to me so you can be stuck up and ignore me. Everything that I say doesn't matter because you turn away. I try to be polite you just try to pick a fight. I try to stay strong even though with all of my heart I think you're wrong. I'm not the only one on my side. If I told a lot of people you'd tell them I lied. I don't need to remind you, but I show you my scar. You come right back and show me his broken heart.
