It was another one of those weeks
Having some kind of bad luck streak
Checked my messages that morning
But nothing could've given me warning
Something happened, you told me so
You let me be the first to know
You were about to go
You walked out, never to look back
I don't know how to feel about that
And the bright lights of the night now
Don't look the same when I think of you
The colors I see don't have just one single hue
The thunder strikes in my mind
As the rain pours from my eyes
The only thing I know for sure,
Is that I'm livin' in a blurry world, without you
A shadow of doubt creeped out from my mind
It said the last time I saw you would be the last time
I didn't think I would ever see the end
I didn't know I would be losing a friend
My thoughts say, "Will I see you again?"
Even though I'll miss you more than I'll share
Your reasons for leaving are more than fair
And the bright lights of the night now
Don't look the same when I think of you
The colors I see don't have just one single hue
The thunder strikes in my mind
As the rain pours from my eyes
The only thing I know for sure,
Is that I'm livin' in a blurry world, without you
I need some help, I got too attached
You leaving shouldn't hurt this bad
You hugged me there, behind the store
I wish I would have told you more
You said that we'll still hang out
Like a star, you still stand out
There's not a tear that night I didn't cry
And if that was really goodbye,
Thanks for everything
And the bright lights of the night now
Don't look the same when I think of you
The colors I see don't have just one single hue
The thunder strikes in my mind
As the rain pours from my eyes
The only thing I know for sure,
Is that I'm livin' in a blurry world, without you

Songs I Wrote
PoetryHere are some songs I wrote. The ones that end in (Old Song) are ones I wrote when I was 14. They're not all that good, but I thought it'd be cool to have my old songs here alongside my new ones. I think it shows how much I've changed and improved...
