Verse 1: Used to think we could be the closest of friends. I can't believe a single thing you say. We both liked similar things and grew close. I thought you were funny and things were all good. You knocked me down and himt me in the only way that you could. You told me a hurtful lie. Do you remember what you said to that guy?

Chorus: I don't know what to do when I can't trust you. I'm in checkmate. I don't know what to do. I don't know where to move. It just leads me back to being lied to by you. You like to start things. You like to cause trouble and just say you're sorry. You don't mean it, so just shut it. When you hurt me this much, sorry just won't cut it. Over the computer I feel like I don't know you anymore. What did you do these things for? Attention? Love? Drama? Give me a hint before I lose you. What do I do? I told you if you hurt me I will never trust you again. What you don't know is that you crossed the line. Now your saying you wish you could call me 'mine'. You can keep doing these things if it's what you must do. I think you'd like to know I can't trust you.

Verse 2: You won't release your grip. She doesn't love you. Wake up and get over this. I know that doesn't seem fair. You know that I've been there. You can't hold her down and tell him what he can and can't do. You just do it so she will love you.

Verse 3: You and your friend thought it would be funny to make me feel dumb. I hope losing my trust was that much fun. You need to understand that I'm never going to forgive you. I can't be that naive. I won't say anything so you'll believe.
