Demark seemed to get accustomed to the different ways of life quickly. He neither seemed faded or discouraged from the fact that some people enjoyed better facilities. I also have the opportunity, he believed. Working in those factories for many hour shifts mean a bit too monotonous for him. But monotonous as it was, it gave him a way to spend time.

You may ask me how on earth would I know whether Demark was enjoying his time or not. Well I may have come from another dimension but I also have empathy, an ability to feel and put myself in someone else shoes. Doing continuous things allowed someone to earn their living and afterall these factories would allow the the daily expenditure of the worker and at the same time would create affordable products that most people could choose to afford.

Afterwards Demark decided to visit the temple. After reaching there Demark looked around and saw many beggars and many people who didn't have a shelter over their heads.

Were the beggars unemployed by choice, or were they physically challenged? Were the beggars in search of enlightenment? Demark wondered as he strolled the temple.

The temple full of beggars and Demark gave some of his earnings tosome of the beggars. The temple was a huge one. Could be filled with one thousand people at once. Demark felt its mysterious aura and look at the wood carvings in great detail. The carvings included landscapes of deserts, rainforests, and the great plains. These carvings were located at the distal portion of the temple. It would take about 10 minutes to travel from one end of the temple to the other end.

Suddenly while Demark was observing the details of the carvings he felt one hand on his shoulder.
"Do you worship nature too." Said the voice. The voice sounded like a males voice. It was hoarse and deep.

Only after turning around, did Demark realise that it was a priest of the temple. The thing was that different gods were worshipped in his village compared to what was there in the city.

However Demark was not oblivious to the situation of religion in the city.

People in the city worshipped nature and its different forms. Elements like fire , water , soil and wind. They also worshipped the sun and the moon. The rise of the sun every morning and the full moon was considered sacred in Lyson.

Priests in the city had their own opinions about God. But all of them worshipped nature. They would do their prayers before sunrise and after sunset. Festival which served as a link between families and communities were also celebrated in the name of God.

Nature is sacred in Lyson remember that. And everything associated to that. Whether it is gas required for cooking as we see fire associated to it, or pure drinking water used in rituals, or is the fresh air found in roof top gardens, and soil itself.

You must be curious about what I feel in other dimension or more accurately other dimensions. I do come from another dimension and people here do worship god and nature too. But in some dimensions they don't worship God at all, however like other places they do celebrate festivals. They do travel large distances to meet their family members. It is a kind a purpose seen through other people's eyes that give a certain sense of security, a certain way of living.

Demark wondered upon the mysteries upon which such establishment of notions were based. But he thought that there were still quite logical to worship nature after all most things that we see out of these things.

Demark while he was younger was quite the explorer. He travelled to places were there was a fifth component of nature called the celestial bodies, or the matter of heavenly bodies. Many people even though never seemed to have seen such celestial matter, still seemed to believe it it. Perhaps it was out of fear for being called a heretic in those places. Demark had guessed. Or maybe its just out of choice of belief. His opinion from those days to now hadn't changed by much.

Demark greeted the priest after a long thoughtful pause. The priest smiled and told the young fellow to follow him. Demark unsure what to do thought for a moment and made a decision to follow the priest. Afterall it was he who decided to visit the temple.

The priest walked to the left of the Temple. He quickly glanced at the pictures towards the sides. There were all pictures symbolising the element of fire. There was a description box anterior to the picture. However he didn't have time to read it.

The priest passed a large wooden door to reveal a spiral staircase. The priest moved relatively less quickly as climbing stairs seem to drain his energy. Demark had time to catch his breath while climbing the stairs.

"Sir, where are you taking me?" asked Demark.

"You will know when you see it."

Demark after 15 minutes of walking couldn't believe his thought process. He thought it would just be the second floor. But there seemed to be more to it then he could imagine.

At the top he realised that there was a huge area then he previously imagined. The area was covered in green plants and flowers. The flowers of different colors existed. Demark could smell the sweet fragrance of it.

Also there were many chairs. And the most surprising thing was they were occupied. Yet he had never heard students of his age coming to study the the temple.

He started looking upwards and he found it was a huge collection of books. Thousands of them. Most of them probably about religion Demark thought.

Demark turned towards the priest only to find him gone.

Demark had always been fascinated by books. Books about science fiction, books about fantasy, books about realism. He had his collection at home and from his saved salary in his village would buy books.

Books which he read there would be life changing though.
