Internal Conflict

Civil war does bring problems as well as external wars. Civil wars may cause the internal power of the country to be weaker. Therefore might make a country vulnerable to to external attack.

That doesn't mean civil war is not important. In fact it way be necessary to maintain justice and order and proper health of a country. But sometimes it can cause such weakening that the vultures that are roaming around get the opportune moment to invade a country when it is not in it's proper form.

Everything is fair in love and war. This is a famous statement in your dimension.

Tactics in different cultures in your dimension you must be aware of. People have used encircling the area to create effective sanctions. This could be done in water or air. In some stories we hear the importance of camouflage and stealth. Some people use hit and run tactics in symmetrical warfare. Some use pawns as a way of distraction.

Therefore the tactics may or may not seem fair. Though people speak of honor and deeply follow it, they may use tactics to prevent further rebellions such as severe types of punishment we have all observed during our lifetimes.

Civil wars had different reasons. Some wanted same religions to dominate the politics. Some wanted the feudal lords to distribute land more fairly. Some wanted the dominance of the bourgeois. Some wanted the dictatorship of the proletariat.

Therefore people have had many reasons for civil war and has shown it is used as a measurement of social progress. Ultimately people would not be isolated of their labor and feel connected to what they do as they get the fruits of their labor. So civil war does have benefits.

When the sky starts to darken there are always a way to wait. The bacteria that causes tetanus can live in a repressed state for centuries and when they get the proper situation they become alive again.

There are always going to be challenges that a person has to face in order for them to become stronger. Revenge might not be the best option in every situation. But forgiveness might have been even more difficult.

Maybe seeing the bright future and common interests can only bring peace and lessen the feeling of vengeance.

Demark, as much as he was a person who had a purpose and knowledge, couldn't let himself forget the ashes of the fated. He had an inner fire. A desire that the people who had caused the damage would suffer just as much as his family did.

And therefore it was something when he listened that many people from Lyson and even those under imperial control of Lyson wanted to start a rebellion so that we would achieve peace.

Therefore Demark after completing his course on medicine decided to return and commit himself as a rebel and help the protestors by doing surgery and giving medicine.

General Huo meanwhile was waiting for the opportune moment when he would be able to use his talents. He was looking forward to using his abilities in future disturbances and was very focused. He had lost not only a mentor but also a father and someone who loved him dearly. So a war could be a place where he could release his unreleased emotions. He could also use his mind.

Huo was the kindest man you could think of. He had compassion for those people who were less fortunate. And he donated to charity specially the old age houses and children orphanages as he had affinity towards his father and children. He also was an orphan for a short time so he felt it was his obligation as well as his choice to help the orphans.

Also as you know from the letter by Git to Huo and also some references by me General Huo was a very capable man. He was made for the job. Therefore he thought that he would accomplish and complete his goal if not survive the civil war. But he was pretty sure that he would survive the war too. He could feel it in his gut and his bones.

He closed his eyes. He saw a white land with domestic animals and people herding the animals. He looked behind and saw the great mountain range with the green hills and plains. It was a peaceful scene. He heard the birds and saw the sun rise slowly from the east, that was from his left. He saw people of all different ages smiling and happy. The children seemed happy to be alive and the old people seemed that they were not scared to die.

Huo was very calm and he felt that he could feel the sunlight of the sun rise. The music of the city was soothing and relaxing.

A place where there would not be war. However in the science fiction books of your dimension they did explain how crisis becomes a way to forge yourself into something stronger and better.

And the longer you go into difficult circumstances it prepares a person to adjust to the upcoming hard circumstances. Forging like iron it becomes harder.

He believed peace was something between two wars. That war couldn't be prevented and that peace must be valued to the greatest degree. Peace should be lived to the fullest and people should not take peace for granted.

He trained hard and was also harsh on his successors even though he treated them kindly. He did it only for their own good and they knew it too.

People needed to be hard or at least practice being hard since it was always possible that a situation might arrive that which test a person capabilities. It might examine whether a person would be able to survive the difficulties. As one famous man once said in your dimension "One day you would be faced with a growing temptation or growing sorrow. But the real challenge of a person is now. It is now which determines a person at his future challenge would gloriously pass or fail."

Huo felt his promotion had increased his responsibilities and he felt he had been preparing for this day his entire life.
