The beautiful mountains covered with snow at it's tip gave so much room for imagination. He had studied the mountains and knew they were made by the crashing of two continents. Earthquakes are very likely in this area as the tectonic plates still existed.
He wondered what kind of fear a person might have to go through if they were under constant threat. Of course human beings and most living things he believed were challenged by nature to do their best and survive. And human beings not only survived for themselves but for others too. Huo knew he had once survived for his father. Now since his father was dead, he survived for the honor of his father. And he also survived for his wife and son.
The beautiful sky was beyond emitting and was shining the brightness of a thousand suns. He didn't feel heat though. In fact he felt very chilly in stark contrast to what people would imagine him to feel.
And learning how people had to keep a constant temperature for the optimum functioning of enzymes he was initially a bit worried he would suffer from hypothermia. But he soon realized that the place was different.
Something that he didn't expect to feel was felt by him. A void and immunity to everything in the environment. The birds and animals that he had grown up with seemed to be no more. It was complete silence in this lone world. There seemed to be peace in the air, not a relative one but a absolute one.
Peace in the environment was something Huo had felt when he had one a battle whether it was at a field or it was in his mind. There was a kind of peace beneath it. A way to escape the daily necessities and still feel blessed.
And as a narcotic does to the body, it made the body somewhat attracted to stay in the environment. It was a kind of leisure time and a kind of relaxation.
But then he saw it for the first time. Someone who looked like him appeared. Soon he realized that it wasn't just a single person. It was two. And they had similar physical characteristics of Huo. One was taller than the other and one was female and the other male.
There was a unique quality about them. They seemed alive but they were also somewhat transparent with their bodies somewhat floating in the wind. They were like some kind of ghost living in the past.
It wasn't Git and Huo soon realized it was his biological parents. He had the small eyes of his father and the large cheekbones of his mother. A inner part of Huo which was missing since he was separated from his biological mother and father.
I never got to spend time with them. Thought Huo quietly. Time was so precious. Of course he had been kinda alone from the start. He had a father who had left him during duty calls.
When he was climbing the majestic green hills of Silva, he would stop for a view and wonder what it would be like to have a biological mother and father who cared. And sometimes even when he felt so lonely he would not scream it out. But drops of water would come out. There is a popular saying in your dimension. Men cry not because they are weak. Men cry because they have been strong for so long.
And the pain of losing someone dear, the solitude of not having someone to cheer you up, is very painful indeed. Huo knew this and always gave as much attention he could when he had the chance to his wife and children.
But duty calls and he knew if in the end moments of his life would be the starting moments or earlier moments of life for another. We have all been born into this world, this dimension, this blue planet and we have been coming close to the truth but the more we come close to the truth, the more we become aware of our tremendous responsibility as freedom of choice doesn't come alone. It comes with the knowledge that we can create what is needed, destroy and rebuild where suitable and preserve the things that are important in life.
And the deep thinking that Huo went through and the feeling of a reunion even though he had never really met his parents.
"Hello Git" said his father. Git stood there unable to comprehend what he saw and unable to analyze his own thoughts, even though he had a habit of doing it so efficiently.
"Father?" Git said. The altitude could be approximately vaguely measured by looking down. The mountains far away, snow capped. The rivers seemed like a drop of water. And Huo looked up. There was something that made someone loyal to a caretaker. But some connection lay inside Huo to his biological father that people trying to articulate it using wordsp would fail.
We all meet people we learn to love. We learn to love them conditionally. We learn to love them for a reason. An animal loves us because we feed them. We give them attention. A give and take relation.
But for some reason, a person even in the first reaction and feeling could be so deep and mysterious and overwhelming.
And that was the feeling that Hou was feeling right now.
And then Huo without hesitation took some steps towards his father and mother. And then he embraced them. And the father and mother embraced him back.
"I died too early. I didn't have a chance to see you grow up. I did not get the time to spend with you. And for that I am truly sorry." his father said.
"There is no need to say sorry. We just all always try our best. We just fall into unfavorable conditions made by nature and their challenges. After all we can't change the intensity of different difficulties we all face ." said Huo
And it might have been a hallucination. But nevertheless Huo found it was a missing piece of his life that was now fulfilled and which he didn't forget till his own end.
