Jennie walked through the classroom doors and found Jisoo and Chaeyoung in the back waving their arms around to let her know where they were sitting. She rolled her eyes at their antics as she walked between the desks walking straight to the back and sitting between Jisoo and Chaeyoung, who were more excited for her to see the Professor than learning a language she already knew; English.
She didn't know why she decided to take the class but when Jisoo said the Professor was in quote, 'too pretty to not look at.' Chaeyoung decided to see for herself and when she came back from that class she had said the Professor was in quote, 'the most beautiful person she had ever laid eyes on.' In which led to them begging her to join the two of them and make googly eyes at the Professor. And as she thought more about it, she couldn't possibly say no.
The only problem was that she already knew the Professor, a little too much if anyone asked her. Now she didn't have to take the class but the last time she had seen the Professor it was to end their friends with benefits relationship. If she could even call it that. She was the one who ended things because well she became a little too attached and with the Professor's cool persona she wasn't about keep the Professor by the hip if it meant for her heart to break in two.
Don't get her wrong it hurt, a lot if she were being honest. A lot worse than her spraining her ankle three summer's ago. But the bitter side of her saw all the social media posts and she hoped some lucky gal broke the Professor's heart. Maybe it would lead to a change of heart and maybe it would lead to her coming back to her. So yes she took this class on purpose, but maybe this was a different person. Maybe this person was just coincidentally called Lalisa Manoban. Maybe this Lalisa Manoban was just as beautiful as the girl she had fun with a year ago.
Yeah, maybe this was a different Lalisa Manoban-
"Good morning everyone," Jennie's thoughts were pushed to the back of her head as she felt Jisoo's and Chaeyoung's hands begin to slap her arm begging her to look at the Professor. And as Jennie took a deep breath she looked at the Professor and somehow life really loved to play games with her. She let out a chuckle as she looked at Jisoo and then at Chaeyoung who was just looking for a reaction more than a confession that the Professor they were looking at was the same girl who she had past relations with. Relations that ended with her being sad and Lisa returning to being Lisa.
Class had begun and Lisa was more focused on teaching but as the words of, 'how do you say are you single in English?' Ran through the class Lisa managed to turn around and catch Jennie's eyes. Lisa let out a chuckle as she looked back at the girl who asked and shrugged. "I don't think that's appropriate is it?" Jennie let out a bitter chuckle as she shook her head but Lisa noticed all the little movements Jennie had made, she had crossed her legs, ran a hand through her hair, and bit the inside of her cheek. She was angry with the thought of someone hitting on her, but she had no reason to. She was the one who ended things not her.
Class ended rather quickly with Jisoo and Chaeyoung constantly telling Jennie about what Lisa was doing, how beautiful Lisa was, it had gotten to the point where Jennie was ready to stick her pencil down their throats. She took a deep breath as she began to take her time with putting her things away, so slowly that Jisoo and Chaeyoung decided it was best they catch up with her later. She only agreed and once they were out the doors, she felt the air in that classroom thicken. It was just her and Lisa, all alone once again. She shook her head as this was a bad idea and quickly began to walk down the steps to meet up with her two friends. The only thing she didn't expect was for Lisa's smooth hand to grab her arm.
"Something you want to say Jennie?" Lisa's voice ran through her ears and it reminded her of the many times she heard Lisa's smooth voice by her ear. She closed her eyes as she pulled her arm away from her, simply telling her that she was just leaving. Lisa chuckled as she noticed Jennie trying her hardest in standing her ground. "Is their a reason why you're taking a class for a language you already know so well?"
"Is that any of your-"
"Yes, it is. Are you forgetting we met in Paris my love?" She let out and Jennie bit the inside of her cheek as she looked up to the ceiling not wanting to see Lisa's smug face any longer. "Why are you taking this class Jennie?"
"I, I, I," Jennie stumbled upon her words as she really tried to come up with an excuse, but she frowned as she couldn't think of anything. She looked at Lisa and let out a sigh, she could admit she missed the girl but the way Lisa was acting reminded her of why she had ended things with her. Lisa clearly wasn't for relationships. "I wanted to see your dumb face," she let out finally and Lisa chuckled as she leaned back on her desk putting her hands up almost to tell her that her dumb face was there for the taking.
"Anything else you miss?" She continued and Jennie knew what she meant by that but still she crossed her arms against her chest and told her no. Lisa smiled as she put her hands on Jennie's cheeks. "You know what I missed?" She let out and Jennie couldn't help but let her eyes wander downward to her lips. And as she looked back up to Lisa's eyes she could already see they had wandered down as well. "I miss Paris."
Jennie unconsciously felt herself lean forward but was met with cold air and as she opened her eyes to see where Lisa was, she could see that smirk. "Fuck off," she let out as she pushed Lisa's shoulder and Lisa just let out a laugh as she reminded her that she had left her not the other way around. "If you were so into me you could have told me," she breathed out as she felt tears well in her eyes. She knew crying over Lisa was pointless but still she felt hurt that Lisa not once had told her during their time in Paris that she did in fact like her and Jennie ending things was a stupid mistake.
"I did tell you," Lisa simply said as Jennie frowned at her, "I called you." Jennie was going to say something but remembered the missed call she had received once she was off the plane. A missed call she paid no mind too. "God Jennie you're painting me out to be the bad guy in that perfect mind of yours," she chuckled out and Jennie only felt her cheeks heat up as she ran a hand through her hair. Lisa just chuckled as she grabbed Jennie's cheeks once again. "Stop taking my class and take me back to Paris."
And this time Jennie let her lips touch hers, no teasing just putting an old relationship back together again. But soon their kiss was interrupted with a loud bang from the door and as Jennie jumped back to fix herself up. Lisa only tilted her head to see two of her students on the floor yelling at each other. "May I help you ladies?" Lisa asked and Jennie looked over to see Jisoo and Chaeyoung hitting each other as they stood up from the floor. Lisa turned to Jennie who looked about ready to throw hands at the two girls who were already hurting each other. "Friends of yours?"
"Yeah," she seethed and Jisoo and Chaeyoung stood up straight to lessen the fact that they were secretly peeking through the class window the entire time. The only secret they knew was that other people were also trying to sneak a peek as well. Chaeyoung managed to tilt the door handle slightly and the two best friends made it to the floor with a hard crash. Leaving everyone else to scatter leaving the two girls on the floor to handle the scolding. Jennie chuckled as she looked at Lisa who only smiled back at her. "Call me, yeah?"
"Always," Lisa let out as she watched Jennie walk up to her two best friends, grabbing their ears as they both said their goodbye's to their Professor. Lisa just shook her head as she heard the door close but still managed to hear Jennie's scolding at the two girls.
