Colby and I worked together that Friday night. We had been texting throughout the week- I had hoped she was going to ask me to hangout again, but she didn't. I wondered when we would. I wasn't going to push it- I didn't want to come off too strong.
I was doing my last training week before I would be on my own serving. I was slightly nervous, but it was nothing I couldn't handle. Toward the end of my training shift, Colby came up to me as I was sorting through silverware.
She leaned her back against the counter and looked at me with a small smile. She had been glancing at me all night- which made me feel jolts of electricity inside.
"Want to go to a party with me tonight?" she asked me.
I looked at her. "A party? Where at?"
"Sam's friend, Tyler, is hosting a party. He lives in this huge farmhouse about forty five minutes away. His parents are out for the weekend." Colby said, "Sam asked me if I wanted to come. I figured I would ask you. And I hope you say yes."
"I don't have anything to wear." I smiled and shook my head. At least she wanted to hangout with me.
"Tell you what. Come with me back to my house, and I'll give you something of mine to wear. I know we don't have the same style, but we will make it work. And you can sleep over my house. I'll drop you off at your car tomorrow morning. Or if you don't want to sleepover, sometime tonight." Colby said.
"I'll sleepover." I said to her.
I saw a slightly devilish look appear in Colby's green eyes. "Perfect." she grinned.I ended my shift at 8:30, and I waited for Colby, who ended at 9. As I waited I called Charlotte and told her that I was going to be sleeping at Colby's.
"Okay." she said, "And don't drink too much at this party. Neither of you."
"I won't." I promised.
I wondered what I would wear of Colby's. She was right- we had two different styles. She was more casual, I was a bit more preppy. When we got up to her bedroom, she started looking through her closet. Finally, she handed me a white t-shirt, faux leather jacket, and a pair of black leggings.
"The leggings might be a little long since I'm taller. But we'll make it work." she said.
"We will." I nodded, "Um...do you want me to go change in the bathroom?"
"No, silly. Unless you want to. I won't look while you change. I'll look for something to wear for myself." Colby rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Okay." I smiled back, "Turn around."
"Not like I haven't seen it before." Colby joked. And I felt myself blushing.
I finished changing, and didn't even notice that Colby had slipped on a pair of black skinny jeans, a gray shirt, and a jean jacket. She looked good.
We looked at each other for a moment. Finally, she said, "I like you in my clothes, Jane."
"Are you sure this looks okay?" I asked.
Colby took a step toward me. She was very close. I looked up at her, and she put her hand on my arm. "It looks amazing. You look amazing." Colby said.
I swallowed, "So do you."
And that's when she leaned down and gave me a slight kiss. Which grew deeper. And deeper. Until we pulled away.
"Let's save that for later." Colby laughed, looking slightly flushed. She drove us in her car out to where the party was. We live in a suburban area of Pennsylvania- and this was getting much more rural where Tyler lived.
Colby and I listened to throwback rap music on the way, rapping along to the lyrics and laughing with each other. I had almost forgotten how goofy she could be.
The song "What's Your Fantasy?" by Ludacris started playing and Colby said, "Dani loves this song!"
"I'm surprised you didn't want her to come tonight." I said.
"She's actually on a date." Colby said, "Some girl at her work. I hope it goes well."
"Oh." I said, "Okay. I hope it goes well too."
"I'm glad you're becoming friends with her too." Colby said, "Isn't she awesome?"
"She is." I agreed.Colby wasn't kidding when she said Tyler's house was huge. It was also acres long. I saw a bonfire as we started to walk up together. Colby had texted her twin brother, Sam, that we had arrived. Him and two of his friends greeted us.
Sam looked just like a male version of Colby. They had the same hair color and green eyes. And even similar features- but for Sam, a masculine version.
"Good to see you, Jane." he said, and gave me a hug.
"It's nice to see you as well." I said.
"I'm really sorry about your sister, by the way." Sam said, "Colby told me."
"Thank you." I said, "I appreciate it."
There were around 50-60 people at the party. Colby groaned the whole time because country music was playing from speakers inside and outside of the house.
We sat next to each other on a log in front of the bonfire, very close and cuddled up. I had a hard cider in hand, and Colby had a beer. She was only going to have one drink.
"Last time we were hanging out neither of us could drink." Colby said, taking a sip.
"Legally." I winked at her.
As one country song ended and another started blaring, Colby rolled her eyes.
"Someone change the playlist!" she said.
"Remember my best friend, Nia? She would be saying that along with you right now. She hates country music." I said.
"I remember her. She must hate me too though." Colby said.
"Why do you say that?" I looked at Colby.
"Because I hurt you. And she's your best friend." Colby said.
"Fair enough. But she doesn't hate you." I said.
"I won't give her a reason to again anyway." Colby looked at me.
"And why is that?"
"Because I won't be hurting you again." Colby said.
"I really want to believe you. I think I do."
"I'll prove it to you." Colby said, "And I hope you let me prove something else to you later. If you want."
I felt myself getting hot. "Oh yeah. What's that?" I joked.
"I think you know." Colby smiled. We wound up leaving about 2 hours after got there, a little after midnight.
"I'm starved." Colby said, "Mind if we stop at a Wawa or whatever is on the way back?"
"Sure. I'm really hungry too." I said.
We stopped into Royal Farms, and got some snacks.
"We can eat them and watch some TV in my room."
Colby said as we stood in line to check out. "I made sure to get Chex mix. I know how much you love it. Which I still think is kind of weird."I could tell on the ride the rest of the way home we had one thing in our minds.
Sex.
It didn't help that almost every song that came on in the car had that as it's topic.
And when we got back to Colby's house, right when we got out to her room we could hardly keep our hands off each other.
She made the first move, leaning down to kiss me against her closed door as she took off her jacket.
"Hopefully I'll be able to please you as good as I used to." Colby said, kissing my neck.
I could feel myself getting wet as she said that, thinking about how she would please me before. And yes, she was good.
We eventually got to her bed. I climbed on top of her and started kissing her neck.
"Fuck." Colby said, her breathing heavy. She pulled off the white t-shirt she had given me, revealing my black bra underneath. She then took off my leggings and grabbed my ass as I straddled her.
"I missed your body." I said to her as she took off her shirt.
"I've missed yours. And if you think I'm not getting on top of you and fucking you in about five seconds, you've got another thing coming your way." Colby said.
"Who said I'm not going to fuck you first?" I nibbled Colby's ear lightly, "Remember, I'm a switch."
"The only thing you're switching now is positions. I'm going down on you." Colby said, and in a swift movement, she flipped me under her, pinned down my arms, and started immediately going down on me.I hadn't had sex for about 9 months. And right now, in this moment, I realized how much I had missed it. And needed this release. And also how much I needed Colby again.
And she seemed to really show me how much she needed me too. And I reached a climax that I hadn't reached in a long time.
Colby came up after I was done and kissed me. "You seemed to have enjoyed that."
"Yeah...very much so." I chuckled, breathless.
"You're so fucking hot, Jane. What the hell was I thinking, letting you go before?"
"You promise you won't again?" I said to Colby.
She looked at me sincerely. "I promise." she said to me.
