After a movie and a couple of hours of girly chatter, you get up from the couch. Your sister perks up from her seat and looks at you.

"Hey, where are you going, Y/N?" She asks.

You take in a deep breath and turn back to look at her and Fuyumi over your shoulder with a small smile.

"I'm actually pretty tired so I think I'm going to head to bed a little early."

Fuyumi gives you a smile and nods, taking a sip from her mug of hot tea. She starts to turn back to the television and pick up the remote. Your sister scoffs and rolls her eyes, arms crossed over her chest.

"Oh please. Drop the act already," she giggles and shakes her head at you.

You freeze and steal another glance at your door before looking back to meet her eyes, skewering you with the same color of your own eyes. Only hers are a little darkened with her accusatory gaze. You chuckle nervously and shift towards your bedroom slightly.

"What are you talking about, Kyoko? Stop being so dramatic," you giggle, trying to cover up your nerves.

She sighs and gets up from the couch, putting herself between you and your bedroom. Your eyes widen slightly and you feel your heartbeat speed up in your chest. Fuyumi turns on the couch and faces the two of you. She furrows her brows with confusion, her grey eyes sparkling behind her glasses. She looks between the two of you and shakes her head.

"Kyoko, what's going on?" Your best friend asks sheepishly.

Your sister puts her hands on her hips and gives you a glare, a hint of humor behind her eyes and smirk. She chuckles and gestures towards your bedroom.

"Come on, Y/N," she drawls. "I know he's here. Just go get him." She shrugs her shoulders and chuckles.

Shit.

You can't think straight through the panic in your brain. You thought she'd believed your lie, but clearly not. Or maybe you had taken one too many looks over your shoulder and behind their heads at your bedroom door while the movie was playing. You weren't sure what exactly gave it away, but you knew your sister wasn't going to let this one go. She wouldn't be satisfied until she met the man you had hiding away in your room...but that couldn't happen.

One look at Touya's face and they would scream and call the police. You loved your sister and Fuyumi, but they weren't blind or deaf to the news reports as of late that were showing the faces of the league on repeat. They were still asking for information and advising people to call in and report any sightings of these dangerous criminals.

Kyoko taps her foot on the floor and throws out her hands in dramatic expression. "Helloooo, earth to Y/N!"

You blink at her a few times and glance at Fuyumi who's trying to cover her giggle with her hand brought up to her lips. She looks at you and nods towards your bedroom with a wink.

"Just bring him out and introduce us already! What are you so afraid of," your best friend encourages.

You chuckle, the sound full of nerves, and rub at the back of your neck. You look back at your bedroom frantically, unsure of what to do at the moment. Kyoko gets an annoyed look in her eyes before turning back to the door and walking towards it. Your breath catches in your throat and you feel like the world around you is spinning as you lunge forward after her.

"WAIT!" Your voice is strained and full of panic as your reach for your sister.

You catch her elbow in your hand and she whips her head back to look at you. Her hand is inches from the doorknob. The click of your bedroom door opening startles you both. Your eyes feel like they are going to pop out of their head and your jaw comes unhinged as Dabi walks out of the room.
