Hi hello, thank you so much for 4K reads!! I love you all. Your support means so much. I appreciate all the kind comments you leave, and most definitely the funny ones. They get me wheezing some days. I hope you will continue to enjoy this fanfic. When this one is done, I will start another one centered around Dabi. The next one will have an OC insert instead of it being an x reader fic, but I hope you'll love that one all the same! <3

The next day you were nervous the entire time you were at work. After several weeks of not hearing from your boyfriend, he had finally contacted you and he wanted to see you. You sat at your desk and stared at the hotel information he had sent you. It had been a while since the two of you met at a hotel. You wondered why it had to be a discreet location instead of you going to the league or him popping up at your apartment like he'd had a habit of doing lately. Although you reconsidered the thought that maybe you should be grateful you were meeting at the least risky of your options.

You were watching the minutes on the clock tick by throughout the day. Each glance seemed like it was in slow motion as your body vibrated with the anticipation of seeing Touya. It felt like every nerve in your body was a live wire inside of you.

When the clock finally read 5 PM you jolted up from your desk and rushed out of our office, almost ripping the door off its hinges. A few people in the hallway turned and looked at you a little oddly when you jerked it open. You offered a sheepish smile in response. You rushed through the flow of people out of the building. When you saw that you would be waiting for the next round of elevators, you changed paths through the agency.

Reaching an open balcony - one of few that the agency had for aerial heroes such as yourself - you gripped your bag over your shoulder and formed wings of light on your back. You stepped out into the air and soared down to the ground and over to your parked car. You grabbed your keys from the bag, unlocked the doors, and slid into the driver's seat with one fluid motion. The engine roared to life as you turned the key in the ignition and you quickly checked your surroundings and put the car in reverse.

You turned onto the street and punched the go button on your GPS. It calculated the quickest path for you through the city streets, detouring you through any thicker afternoon traffic. You cut down the streets and gripped the steering wheel tightly in both of your hands. Your gaze was full of linear focus on the streets in front of you as your concentration was set on your hotel destination.

When you pulled into the parking lot of the hotel, you lurched into a parking space and went to the front desk asking for the spare key to room 32. The hotel receptionist looked up at you with a smile and turned to the computer. A confused look fell on her face as she typed. She paused and turned to look at you standing in the lobby.

"I'm sorry ma'am. Your husband hasn't gotten here yet, but when he made the reservations he said it would be ok for you to receive the keys and check-in for the two of you," she smiled and turned to the wall of keys hanging behind her.

"My h-husband... Oh...oh! Yes, right, my husband," you chuckled nervously and shifted your overnight bag on your shoulder.

She turned around and saw your flushed face and flickering eyes. Her face fell slightly as she cleared her throat. "I'm so sorry! I just assumed you were Mrs..." She takes a quick glance at the computer screen and then back to you with an embarrassed grin. "Pashin."

You blinked at her a couple of times. You never thought Dabi used his actual name to book these hotel rooms, but you didn't know he used aliases like that. You thought about the name she had used. Pashin...Pashin...passion! Your heart fluttered in your chest at the connection. Now you were curious if he had been that clever and heartfelt with his other reservation aliases. A small giggle escaped your throat, provoking the receptionist to raise a concerned brow at you.
