Chapter Thirty-Nine

A few days later you pull into the parking lot of another hotel. The streetlamps give off a soft glow of light against the dark night sky. You get out of your car and sling your bag up onto your shoulder as you walk towards the room number Dabi had texted you. A small knock on the door and swings open gently. Touya stands there in shredded dark jeans, an acid-washed hoodie with a band logo, and black boots grinning at you.

"Hi," he smiles.

"Hi," you giggle.

He pulls you into his arms and kisses you hard. You kick the door closed behind you with your heel. The embrace between the two of you is hot and heavy, an excessive need for being close to each other.

"Touya," you mumble against his lips, "I need to tell you something."

He hums and bites your lip. "Can it wait?"

You giggle and pull your lips from his. He growls and leans into your neck, trailing kisses down from your jaw. A breathy moan leaves your lips and you want him to continue so badly. He nips at your skin and you inhale sharply.

"N-no, it's important. Please," you whimper.

He sighs and pulls back, looking at you with a little bit of annoyance. You giggle and cup his cheek. He rolls his eyes and raises a brow at you. 

"All right, all right," he huffs and sits on the edge of the bed, pulling you down onto his lap. 

You sigh and gather up the courage to tell him all about how you knew the truth of what he has planned. He should know about what the overall plan was so he would be ready to run with you. 

"Touya, Keigo told me about your plan," you say softly. 

His blue eyes darken slightly and he scoffs. "I should have known that bird brain couldn't keep his damn mouth shut," he grumbles and reaches for his phone in his back pocket. 

"No wait," you say quickly and put a hand on his chest. "He thought I knew. I pressed him to tell me and he thought I should...because we're worried that you're going to get hurt.

"Tch, I won't."

You sigh and cup his cheek. "But what if you do?" Your eyes search his and his soften when he sees the worry painted over your features. "Please...I don't know what I would do if you were taken away from me."

He swallows and holds you tightly. The depths of his eyes search your face and he sighs heavily.

"Y/N, I'll be fine."

"I can't trust that. Keigo and I...we came up with a plan," you mumble.

He raises his brow. "A plan?"

You nod. "Yes. After your reveal, we're running away together. I'll keep Shigaraki distracted during your reveal and Hawks will be with you and when the reveal is done, the three of us will meet up somewhere after he gives me a signal. Then we're leaving...just you and me," you smile a little. 

Touya remains silent for a moment, thoughts running wild behind his eyes. You can see him thinking so hard about what you just told him. But you can't tell if he's upset and it makes you feel as though you're holding your breath with the nerves that consume your mind. 

"Did he tell you the entire plan?" You shake your head in confusion. "I wasn't just going to expose him...I was going to kill him."
