Not the Right Ideas

The rest of the day flew by as Kenzi and I threw around some first impression ideas. We talked a lot about how we preferred to work and decided that pictures and pinning them to the wall would easily allow us to connect ideas. "Someone is going to enter the space and think we are trying to solve a true crime case involving Greta Van Fleet" I joked as we looked for pictures to print.

I learned a lot about Kenzi as well as the boys like how she had known them since high school and how they always dreamed of being rockstars. Well Josh also had dreams of being a film maker which reminded me of a lot of my friends whom I met in my film courses in college. Kenzi showed me some of her old designs from college and we compared competitions we had been to for costuming. It was fun to have so much in common.

After we had an idea of each others work style we went to meet with the other designers. For two hours we threw out possible ideas and had the director yes and no them. We made a for sure production schedule which was roughly a week of planning and designing followed by a week of building. Filming and editing would take over the last two weeks. There felt like more than enough time.

"The song has already been release so the song does not have to stay private which is helpful and Greta is rather cryptic, a seemingly random dropped music video is nothing shocking" the director stated. "I would like to have an idea set in stone two days from now so let us have our ideas ready to present to the boys by the end of their rehearsal tomorrow. Great first day."

I close my laptop and started to get up from the table when Kenzi leaned over. "Ready for dinner?" She must have picked up on my confused expression quickly because she expanded "with the boys. We are going out to eat with the boys."

"I did not know I was included in that."

"Of course you were besides you are the only female connection I have right now so you can't leave me."I looked at her jokingly annoyed. "You can pick the place!"

"Fine but only because I get to pick the place."

"So what is this place" Sam asked as we walked through the doors of Stock & Barrel.

"Supposedly the best burger in Nashville but I would not know because I do not eat red meat but they do have amazing fried pickles and anything you can dream of on tap." I had only been here a couple times but every time was amazing so I knew I had to take them here.

"Wait you don't eat red meat" Sam asked me as we were escorted to a corner booth.

"Yeah it is just something I have done since middle school." I don't remember why I chose to do it just that one day I told my parents and they could not care less with what I chose to do.

"Have you ever thought about going vegan. I am." I could tell Sam was very proud of this.

"I love honey and cheese too much" I explained to a disappointed Sam.

"Besides, grilled steaks are so good" Jake teased as he leaned onto Sam's shoulder.

"I agree with Molly, cheese is amazing. There is just so much variety." Something about the way Josh said this made it funny. Like he truly meant his statement and sounded very serious about cheese types.

After we ordered and all got a round of drinks the boys all turned their attention back to me. I have to admit I did not mind having all these cute boys be so I interested in getting to know me.

"So do you play any instruments" Sam asked as he took a sip of his margarita. I was noticing that Sam is usually the one to ask the questions.

"I took a year of guitar when I was younger but my fingers were never long enough to be very good. I can play the Ukulele but have not tried in about three years."
