"Molly did I say that correctly" Danny asked from the couch across from me.
"Sorry what" I said looking over to see the three boys sitting on the big couch on the tour bus and crowed around on English to French Dictionary. Danny repeat something in French before asking me if is sounded correct again. "Wrong person to ask my guy, I never learned French" I said I readjusted on the chair Josh and I were sharing.
"Didn't you spend lots of your summers here" Jake asked as he flipped some pages looking for another word.
"I mean yes but mother is fluent so she just did all the talking. Once I was visiting Paris on my own I had French friends who were fluent in English so they filled the role of my mother. Trust me, the words I know in French are words you do not want to be sayin to people on the street unless you are lookin to start a fight" I said making the boys chuckle.
"Well we will rely on you incase we get in a brawl then" Sam said as he snatched the book from Jake "now I am gonna figure out how to ask for meatless options."
Danny rolled his eyes as he sat back into the couch, "What are you guys doing today when we arrive in Paris?"
"Well this one says she is in charge of our plans so what she says I do" Josh said wrapping his arm that was already around me tighter.
"I have a few things up my sleeve BUT we are ALL going to the Musée d'Orsay tomorrow as a group so y'all can't do that today" I said sternly to the boys across from me.
"What is that" Jake asked looking to me after he had been giving is younger brother a dirty look for snatching the book from his hands.
"The best art museum in Paris. While others crowd around the tiny Mona Lisa at the Louvre we will be able to see some of the best pieces from people like Van Gogh, Monet, Degas and many more. Plus it is one of the prettiest buildings in Paris since it is the old train station that still has the big clocks" I said without realizing I was moving my hands excitedly.
"That place sounds amazing, I can't believe we did not visist last time we were here" Danny said laughing at my excitement.
"I want to visit Napoleon's tomb" Sam said throwing the dictionary back into Jake's lap, "I did not get to see all the artifacts in the attached museum last time."
Danny leaned forward to look at his best friend "I'll join you if we go to see the Diana memorial afterwards." Sam shook his head in agreement before Jake asked to join them.
Once the bus stopped we got off and quickly put our stuff into the room where we would be staying for the next few days. Before leaving the room I made Josh change into an outfit that was nicer than what he had been relaxing in on the bus. The boys met in the lobby to finalize their day plans as Josh and I strolled through to the car I had called for us.
"Do I get to know what your brain has schemed up for us now" Josh asked as we sat riding in the back of the car.
"We are gonna go hang out with Jim Morrison" I said patting him on the leg to which I received a confused but intrigued look from Josh.
We road for the rest of the car ride in silence as I leaned onto Josh's side and his thumb stroked my shoulder. "Paris is beautiful" Josh said breaking the quiet while the city passed by us out the window. I simply nodded my head in agreement as I snuggled in closer to Josh.
It did not take long for us to reach the other side of town and I sat up straight as a beautiful stone wall appeared with a big metal entrance. "Ready to kiss Oscar" I asked turning to Josh.
"What are you up to" he said with a small laugh as the car came to a stop.
I pointed out the door telling him to exit before thanking the driver. "Welcome to my favorite place on earth, Père Lachaise Cemetery" I said once I had gotten out of the car and stood next to Josh on the sidewalk. I intertwined my fingers with Josh's before pulling him through the iron gate.
