Dylan's POV Chapter 8

Today's the day that I'm leaving for England to talk to my twin. I've tried calling her, but she never picks up anymore. So dramatic times calls for dramatic measures. Last night I went through my plan one more time with my roommates. Other than Uncle Nick, no one else is supposed to know a thing about this until the party. I know my parents will be questioning me on when I got this plan together and even though I knew what to tell them, now was the time to put my plan into action. Thankfully it worked out that Dad is staying in the States for now. Hopefully he won't jump on a plane and I won't accidentally run into him. I'm not that quick on my feet so I'm not sure what I'd say if that just happened.

I paid for my ticket in cash about a week ago, but seriously it feels longer than that. I don't want  to leave a paper trail. I know exactly what I'm going to tell her and hopefully use my twin power to help me out. I'm not saying that I'm going to kidnap her, but I may have to force her onto the plane if I can't get her to come with me otherwise. Being her older twin brother comes with its own power, but it's a massive responsibility too.

So I left this morning on a red eye straight to London. The last time we chatted, she was staying with Amy's parents in London, but I'm willing to go anywhere in England to locate her. It's highly unlikely that she relocated to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland or Wales, but it's still a possibility. Hopefully we would be coming back to the States today and if not, tomorrow at the latest. I'm in a hurry to get home with her in tow because I wanted to help some relationships before we get ready to move out. It's hard to know how she'll react and how long she'll stay for. If I had my way, she wouldn't leave us again. But if she only stays for the party, well at least I could get her back for that. I want her to move out with us, but that's still a dream for now.

"Welcome to London. It is currently eleven o'clock in the morning."

That felt like a fast flight well compared to when I was a boy. The flights would feel like forever, but it was always fun to fly with Holly and Lily. Rochelle would always be sleeping though and I'm not sure why that is. Lily would freak herself out and pace the aisle until she passed out. And Holly was my buddy. With her by my side, the flights seemed to go by quickly, but it was still a long boring flight for kids to endure. It's been a while since I was on a flight with those three, but thankfully Lily has found that sleeping pills helps her to calm down and relax.

I knew this was going to be a quick trip, so after I went through customs, I made my way over to where the private limos are. I had ordered a limo to take me wherever I needed to go to find my twin. So after I got in, I gave the driver for Amy's parents' home. I had secretly retrieved the address from Dad's address book. For some odd reason, he still had their current residence written down.

Upon arrival, I was given the news that my sister didn't live there anymore and my grandparents had sadly passed away. I was about to show myself out, when the butler gave me a note that my sister had written. It was just her new address and permission for the butler to come visit her soon. I hoped it was an explanation how Amy's parents passed, but maybe that'll be something to discuss with my twin on the way back to the States. So I thanked the butler before I rushed back to the limo driver. I gave him the new address as I got into the vehicle again.

It took us a good hour or so to get out of the countryside and into the heart of London where apparently my sister currently lived. I walked to an average flat but I met by another butler. Maybe she needed him for companionship. So I asked for her without explaining who I was, hoping to trick her into seeing me.

"This way, sir."

I nodded as I followed him upstairs. I waited for the butler to find her and wait for her to come greet me.

"There is a gentleman here to see you, miss."

"What? I'm not expecting anyone."

But she came back with him to meet me in the hallway. Her eyes grew wider and wider as they came close to me.
