Hey everyone! I've been forgetting to post, but glad that I finally remembered! Since we're most in the same boat with staying at home, I've gotten a lot of writing done! So I'll try my best to post bi-weekly or at least every Monday!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This morning, I woke up at my usual time, about eight, and got ready for work. I was almost heading out of the door, when I received a call from Mason. He had called Kevin, my boss, and told him that I was taking a personal day. It would've been nice to be involved in this plan of Mason's doings, but that's my uncle. But I think Mason knew that if he asked me to take the day off, I would refuse to. Mason doesn't want me to be a workaholic, but as much as I try to tell him that I'm not, he just doesn't listen. So I'm officially done trying to tell him because I'm honestly just wasting my breath and my time at this point in my life.
(I know what you're going to say. I should be mad at Mason for meddling in my life, but here's how I see it. My two dads are so different from each other. Mason meddles in my life because he's super protective and is always looking our for my best interest. He forced me to do the things I know I should be doing, like taking a day off. And Simon meddles because he loves to be in everyone's business, including my own, but he's also self-centered. In the case of my fame, I decided to tell Mason because he could try to protect me from myself. And I put off telling Simon because I knew he would make it all about himself. So this is why at the end of the day, I welcome Mason's meddling because I don't get a say.)
As you can see, I had no choice but to go along with Mason's scheme.  So he told me to still drive to work so that in the case that either one of my parents just happen to drive by, they would see my car in the parking lot. When I got to work, he pulled out of his spot and parked right next to my car.
"Hey kiddo! How are you?"
"Shocked and surprised."
He just smiled at me and told me to hop into his truck. We usually go to a diner to talk. It's usually pretty empty and quiet. The perfect place to have deep conversations.
I'm so grateful to have Mason in my life because he's always there for me, he's my voice of reason, he's my listening ear and never ever judges me! I wouldn't be myself without his positive influence in my life! When I was little, I was what was known as a rebel, but Mason was one of the few people to see the true me. Inside I was a scared child who didn't want to be hurt by any man wanting to take the role of my father. Mason stepped in and was the best father figure that I've ever had. He was what I needed in that time of my life!
Mason is so protective of all the females in his life and he makes it impossible for me to date sometimes. I'm thankful that he looks out for me, but it doesn't mean that I don't get annoyed with him from time to time.
It took a real village to help raise me, but to date I have two mothers and countless amount of father figures and a real father. When Sydney told me at the bar that I got second chance at a real father, I agreed with her. But I've come to realize in the last few days, is how true that statement really is. But I think I'm holding back because I really want things to go better this time around.
As I thought about my village, the same question kept popping up in my mind. How did Mom get away with marrying Rob with Mason living right next door? But then it occurred to me that Mom and Rob were newlyweds when they moved to Dolphin Wave and joined the village. So that's why.
I'm sad that Mason didn't scare Rob off, but if he did, Lily and I wouldn't exist. But I'm glad I have a real father in Simon and didn't have to grow up with a monster named Rob. I think he had the perfect name because not only did he rob Lily and I out of a father, he also robbed us of a happy family and enjoyable life during our early years. It's taken me about a decade to figure those two things out. I'm so glad that after the incident, every adult in our lives, protected and shielded my sister and I from the monster that lived inside of our birth father. Well more like sperm donor, if you ask me.
