This flashback takes place six months before Holly's story begins. Hope you like it!

"Bye Dyl!"
"Where are you going?"
"Uh work."
"Okay, have a good show!"
"Thanks, bro!"
"You're on one oh four point nine, right?"
"You should know the answer to that stupid question."
"First of all, lose the sass. And two, I was just checking when I tell Dad and Mom today."
"No, you cant."
"Oh I can and I will."
"No. You won't do that to me."
"Are you going to make me?"
"I could, but I'll tell them about your marriage instead."
"How...how do you know that?"
"I have my ways."
I can't believe that I just got blackmailed!
I sighed. "Okay fine. But you need to tell them soon."
"Why?"
"Why do you enjoy hiding your career from them?"
"It's my life, my business and oh yeah not theirs."
"Holly."
"Don't you dare 'Holly' me. Why are you obsessed with my life and my choices?"
"Do you know how famous you would be if your listeners learned who your parents are?"
"Okay look at me, Dylan. I don't want to be known to the world as their daughter."
"Why not?"
"All my life I've been known as Paula Abdul's daughter and when our parents fell in love and got married, it only got worse for me. Now I'm Simon Cowell's daughter too. I thankfully have my own fame without either one knowing a damn thing. And I for one would like to keep it that way. I'm sure you can relate to that, Dyl."
"Yeah I can, but promise me you'll tell them soon."
"Why?"
"I don't want to see you slip up and have the truth come out that way."
"Thanks for your concern, but I got this."
I sighed. "Okay, but I'm just trying to protect you."
"That's sweet of you, but I'm good. Thanks anyway."
Holly gave me a quick wave before leaving. I waved back, but she was walking away from me and didn't see it. As she closed the door, I knew she really needed my older brother protection. So if she doesn't tell them in about six months, I'll fill them in for her. Hopefully that'll be enough time for my sister to come clean and or forget our conversation. I'm not doing this to hurt her, but to help her. I hope she'll see things my way someday.
It's been a little more than six months since this conversation between Holly and I happened. I decided to give her a grace period, but still nothing has changed. I still believe that Holly's going about this the wrong way. My parents think that Holly is an assistant at the radio station that she works at. Holly is really a radio personality. For a few months now I've been planning on how and when to tell my parents about Holly's real job, but the moment hasn't come yet.
