This is a short chapter. Enjoy!

"What the hell was that?" I asked in general.
"I don't have a bloody idea," my brother replied.
"Okay Lily, go look please," I said, looking at her.
"Why me?" she asked.
"You're the youngest in this apartment," I simply stated.
She sighed and left to see what and or who made that ear piercing scream. While she was gone, Dylan and I tried to guess what it was. We came up with three explanations; one of our siblings was super happy, they were scared, or someone had just scared Mom. Our Mom literally screams when someone walks into the room behind her. But the scream didn't sound like Mom though.
Suddenly, Lily came back with a huge smile on her face.
"What is it, Lil?" I asked.
"I brought some guests!" Lily couldn't hold back her excitement either.
Then two of my favorite people walked in behind our sister! My brother and I couldn't get up from the couches fast enough. I ran right into Uncle Mason's arms while Dylan hugged Aunt Beth. Then we switched and I hugged Beth too. Mason and Beth are easily my second parents! I love them both so much!
"Come on, let's catch up!" Beth said, grabbing my hand and walked towards the two couches.
So that's what we did. Both my Uncle and Aunt know me like an open book and I can't lie to them. I trust them completely with all of my secrets because I know they'll keep that sensitive information to themselves and won't rat me out to anyone. There's nothing that they don't know about me. That statement is both comforting and nerve-wrecking to me at the same time.
"Earth to Holly," Beth said, waving her hand in my face.
"I'm sorry, what?" I asked, coming out of my daydream.
"So we heard your initial interview with your parents and all of the follow up interviews too. Just so you know, we always listen to your radio show," Mason said. (I knew there was a 'but'coming.)
"We never miss one, sweetie!" Beth said with a huge smile.
"Thanks so much! That means a lot to me!" (And it really did!)
"But that disrespect towards your father needs to stop now," Mason replied, all fatherly.
"But did you hear the way that he was disrespecting me?" I asked them.
"Yes, but that's still no way to treat him. You know better than that."
"Okay." (There's no arguing with him. It's a waste of time and breath.)
"Also we think it's time to tell them that we've known about your double life for a few years now," Beth said, looking into my eyes.
"No, please don't." (Hope this was a joke, but in my heart I already knew the answer.)
"Why not?" Beth asked me.
"They're going to kill me," I said, plain as day.
"What do you mean?" Mason asked, with his arms crossed.
(Oops, I shouldn't have said that because as a cop, he takes those statements seriously.)
"If looks could kill, I'd be dead," I replied, explaining myself.
Beth put her hand on top of mine. "Sweetie, we know how your parents can be, so we have a deal for you. We'll tell them tonight, but it'll be after dinner while you're supervising your younger siblings. Your uncle and I know how to talk to them down too, okay?"
