Hi loves!! I hope your all doing well!
This is a oneshot I wrote a while back, but I decided to post for Baji's birthday! Sooo, happy birthday to Baji (even though I'm late)!!Also, here's your reminder that Baji's only 14!!! 14!!! WTF?!?! HE LOOKS 30!!!!
Anyways, as usual, reader is gender neutral!
tw⚠️: cursing, and if the idea of being trapped for falling triggers you, don't read this!
Warmth filled you as you laid next to the muscular, black-haired boy, who gently cradled you in his arms. Little snores came out of his mouth, him happily dreaming away his worries, a small smile forming of his face from it.
It was a truly peaceful moment. One so peaceful that it almost lulled you to sleep. You even thought you could finally let your tired eyes, which were already fluttering from your nagging exhaustion, close. Darkness slowly appeared in your vision, and the longer it was there, the more enticing it became.
And, you figured, you were in his arms, so you'd be safe from all the horrors that consumed you at night.
You thought that maybe, just maybe, you could finally get the rest that you had desperately been longing for.
And as you laid there, eyes finally closing, you could feel your exhaustion consume you, and you finally let yourself fall into a deep comforting sleep.
But it was when you felt the familiar falling sensation below you, that you remembered why you stayed awake through the night.
You remembered what had been haunting you for so incredibly long...
Your eyes shut tightly, you not bothering to open them, as you already knew what your surroundings would consist of. But the feeling of the cold floor and the sensation of falling was enough to for you to unwilling open your eyes, once again.
And just as you expected, you saw cold, gray surroundings of an elevator, with white tile floor beneath you. It's LED display that indicated the floors that the elevator was on, was lit up, but the light, was stuck stuck on floor 6.
But somehow, the elevator was still going down.
And it was going down fast.
You could feel your hair fly up as the speed the elevator was going down at, and you knew, it wouldn't be very long until you hit the bottom. And that, would surely be your death.
But even then, you didn't fight.
You didn't attempt to pry open the elevators doors or push on any of the buttons, which would usually send you to the floor you wanted. You already knew it wouldn't work.
After all, this very same thing had already happened to you. And you knew exactly what to expect.
You knew there was no getting out. You knew nothing worked. You knew that you would hit the bottom. You already knew it all.
So, there was no pointing in fighting.
Yet, warm tears still streamed down your cheeks and a panicked feeling still consumed you as you sat on the tile floor beneath you. You knew exactly what would happen, but still, you were petrified.
Maybe it was the fact that you didn't know exactly when you'd hit the bottom, or maybe it was the pain you knew you'd feel when you did hit the bottom. Maybe it was the idea of what
happens after you hit the bottom.Or maybe it was the idea of leaving everyone you loved behind.
You didn't know, but, you did know you were scared. And your pure screams of terror that echoed throughout the small elevator only indicated this further.
