drabble || when mikey teaches you how to fight!

Hi loves! I hope you're all well!

I'm not sure how many other people saw it, but there was a lunar eclipse last night! I thought it was super cool but tbh it freaked me out for no reason.

Anyways, this is a Mikey FLUFF simply because...new leaks :(

As your boyfriend, Mikey is...protective of you.

He's not a helicopter boyfriend or anything, but he does worry about your safety and just makes sure that you're alright. If you were honest, it's pretty cute!

Generally, he just asks you for a text here and there. Sometimes when he does get stressed about you, he'll just pulls you aside and hugs you for what seems like hours. Occasionally you'll get a lecture, but that's really only when you've seriously messed up and made him really panic. But that was it.

Until now.

Now, Toman is stuck in a pretty nasty dispute with another gang. This obviously isn't unusual, but this particular gang was known to be violent and target outsiders.

That was exactly why Mikey's protectiveness and worry for you shot through the roof. He was seriously concerned about you getting jumped, hurt, or dare I say, killed. This gang had done stuff like that before, and he was beyond worried they would do it again.

And well, Mikey was not gonna let that happen....and that was what led to your position now....

"Alrighty Y/n-chin, come at me!" Mikey yelled, smiling. He kept his two hands up around his head, he adjusted himself to a good form, and he signaled you to well, fight him.

Yup, that's right, the invincible Mikey himself is teaching you how to fight just like him.

How exciting, right?

Wrong.

In your mind, you didn't need to know how to fight. You were fine. Sure, you were no biker gang fighter strong, but you could take care of yourself. You didn't need to learn to fight like him. Well, that and the fact that you didn't want to lose to Mikey. That would ruin your always-winning-again-Mikey streak.

Needless to say, you weren't to open about the fighting thing.

"I don't know Mikey, I don't think this is a good idea...." you replied, really hoping he would give up. But clearly, he didn't.

"Aww c'mon Y/n-chin, I promise it'll be fun!"

"Still-"

"Come on! Don't tell me your scared~" he began, a smirk growing on his face. "I thought you didn't get scared....or is it, you're scared of losing?"

You could feel anger rise in you as your boyfriend teased you and ultimately, you took a step forward. At first you just stood there, holding your hands up in front of your head, just waiting for the perfect moment---but the moment Mikey lost focus and looked at something else, you lunged at him.

Unfortunately, Mikey immediately reacted, grabbed you by the arm and then flipped you over his head.

You harshly landed on the floor with a loud 'thud'. The moment you did, you got the wind knocked out of you and you began harshly coughing.

Mikey immediately rushed towards you, propping you up and rubbing your back. He hugged you like baby and profusely apologized, like he just killed someone "Holy shit Y/n, I'm so sorry..."

"It's fine" you groaned, clearly in a bit of pain.

"Why don't we take a brea-"

"I'm fine" you insisted, getting yourself up despite still being in some pain. "It didn't hurt that much anyway"

"You just caught me off guard"

"Well, that's the point" you replied, adjusting your footing. "Plus, that was kinda....hot"

You started moving around and put your hands up by your face again, but Mikey just stood there shaking his head. "No, you should take a little break"

"You were the insistent one" you replied. "And besides, I'm gonna beat your ass"

Mikey was hesitant, but he saw the determination in your eyes and figured you'd be too stubborn to stop. He sighed, before smirking once again. "Mmmmm, we'll see about that"

"Winner buys the other Dorayaki"

"You're on!"

You came at him again, and again, and again, but you lost every time. You tried using tricks that would usually make him flustered, distracted, or just in general mess him up, but he still won each time. Hell, he blatantly turned his back towards you and still won.

"Why don't I give you a little hep, you clearly need it..." Mikey smirked.

"FUCK YOU" you yelled before running at him again, only to lose once again. Each time you lost you got more frustrated, and Mikey got cockier. It was honestly infuriating, and you were getting SUPER angry. You tried hitting him with all your might, but, even then, Mikey still beat you.

He's not called the invincible Mikey for no reason.

"AHHHHH" you yelled, clearly frustrated. "Fine Mikey! Just teach me your ways!"

"If it's what you wish Y/n-chin~"

Mikey casually walked over to you, stood behind you, and gently grabbed your elbows, propping them up.

"See, you need to do this instead. Less choppy" You were kind of pissed, but you just let him guide you. Eventually, you found yourself having fun and you smiled as he taught you more and more. You couldn't help but laugh at Mikey's focused face.

"Now hit me" he said moving in front of you with his hands up. You obliged, only for him to laugh. "That all you got?"

"Mikey!"

"What're you gonna do when if we have a son and he can outbox you. You wouldn't want our son to win against you, right?"

"Mmmmmm" you mumbled. Mikey was clearly getting a little too cocky, and you weren't having it. Thankfully, you had a plan.

Slowly, you got back into position, and adjusted yourself to look you were going to hit him. However, instead of hitting him, you just waltzed up to Mikey.

You walked right in between his hands and kissed him right on the lips. At first he stood stiffly, but then he quickly melted into the kiss. In fact, he was getting pretty into it.

That was until you pulled away, and Mikey was just stuck there flustered. He just stood at the wall for a good 30 minutes while he processed what just happened.

Even when he snapped out of it, he was still pretty shocked

"....T-this isn't f-fighting Y/n-chin!"

"Right, right" you moved back. "Can you flip me over again; it was very hot"

Mikey only looked at you, amused. "You're gonna hurt like a bitch tomorrow"

"Then so be it~"
