headcanons|| when they firsy say 'i love you'

Hey loves! I hope you're well!

So uh....I WAS HAPPY AND WROTE FLUFF AGAIN! YAYYYY!! In any case, I'm trying to do my current requests but it is just it happening....so it may be a really long time

Anyways, reader if this one is gender neutral!

Mitsuya

Mitsuya's 'I love you' was by far the most thought out, sweet one of all.

Mitsuya's the type who knew he loved you even before you started dating. He knew exactly when he fell for you, and he knew he'd always have those feelings for you. The only thing that held him back was ironically enough, you.

He didn't want to accidentally scare you away, or possibly push you too far too quickly. He also wanted to wait for the right moment to tell you just how much he loved you.

So, he waited. He waited until he knew in his heart that the time was right. And it was truly the perfect time.

It was your 6-month anniversary when Mitsuya confessed. You both had simply gone on a date to one of the yearly-festivals to celebrate.

You looked amazing, so much so that Mitsuya's breath was taken, as was yours when you first saw him. You then ate lots of new, different foods, and went to many of the rides that were around.

It was overall, really fun and you and Mitsuya had really enjoyed yourselves.

Ultimately, you both decided to wind down and chill out when the fireworks happened. You got a blanket and sat by the water bank  while the fireworks finally went off.

It was beautiful, almost one of the most beautiful things you had ever laid eyes on. Seeing the unique fireworks in the sky and reflecting off the water was almost like being in a painting, or in a story.

Well, the scene somehow became even more story-like when Mitsuya grabbed your hands and said:

"I...I love you"

You were shocked and flustered. A bright pink blush formed on your face while you looked into your boyfriends beautiful, yet loving lavender eyes. You couldn't help but feel entranced as you felt all the love he truly felt in his heart.

He really did love you, didn't he?

Well, lucky for him, you loved him too. And you were sure to show that as you hugged him and said "I love you back"

To this day, the moment is one of your favorites.

You still remember the fireworks and the look in Mitsuya eyes. You remember feeling his warmth and true love he felt for you, the same love he felt today.

Now you were getting married, and you were going to seal the deal.

You'd now love each other for eternity and absolutely nothing could change the love that brought happiness after years of sadness.

It as your happy ending, one that you'd never forget. Not even in your new lives~

Mikey is definitely the type to just mindless say 'I love you' without a single thought in his mind. It just sort've happened.

Mikey's not one who really puts a ton of thought into things like this. He knows he loves you, and he ultimately knew that he'd say it when he felt it was right.
